Holy #$%@ what a shot by Tiger on #15. Let's see if it can get him going to make a run at the end of the day.

Golden opportunite for Tiger results in the par. I think he is geting extremely frustrated now. He needs to try and get in the clubhouse for the day before anything major goes wrong. If the players do not catch that upper ridge on #16, the ball rolls all the way to the fringe down by the pond.

i guess Bubba had a bad few holes in rd1 or rd2 (missed because i was at work) otherwise he'd be in second right now. i think he is the play tomorrow on whoever he is paired with (yang or fisher). going to hit that line when it comes out - bubba is on fire right now and this course suits long hitters.

A Clutch Clutch Par Putt on #17 by Woods. That one was huge. Remember that one if he gets near or ties the leaders tomorrow.

But Woods then gives it back at #18 with the bogey. McIlroy might have enough cushion to fend off any charge someone might make. I think he keeps his composure tomorrow and avoids the meltdown.

Excellent round by Cabrera to get into contention.
Tiger just isn't mentally there, and you have to be in this game, unless you get lucky.
What a birdie by Rory on 17; should be a good finish tomorrow....
Love seeing Freddy C still play with the young guns!

Zach Johnson, Mike Weir, Jose Maria Olazabal, Mark O'Meara, Sandy Lyle, Vijay Singh, Ian Woosan, Larry Mize, Ben Crenshaw, Craig Stadler, and Tom Watson are the past champions who did not make the cut this time. Could this be the evidence needed to prove that golf has moved to and is now focused on a newer generation of players who will be great champions in their time?

Tiger out of the gate very nicely with par and two birdies. Maybe Tiger IS the American who will challenge the internationals. Mickelson might struggle all day long.

Tiger might as well have beem putting from the Subway Sandwhich Shop there in dowtown Augusta on #4 because he was a mile away from the hole.

The tournament leader McIlroy off to a shaky start. Which way will he go? Recover or Implode? Too early to tell but only two more bogeys and he is back in double digits.

McIlroy finding the lip of the massive bunker and may lose another while Tiger gets back on track with a birdie. KJ Choi misses his golden opportunity but may be in the thick of the matter later on.
