I personally couldn't care less if anyone bought the site as long as they didn't buy the site to just editorialize and promote their own operations. Marty hasn't done any of that, he doesn't even post. If I didn't have a financial interest that comes from being on the payroll as I do here, I couldn't care one bit who owns a site where I just go and post and read. It makes no difference to me and I think it makes almost no difference to most of the people here. I get tired of everyday someone restarting the whole pay the people issue. I mean come on, almost every one of these people don't have any business getting into telling someone how to handle their business. How many Danish people that personally got screwed out of money do we have as regular posters here??? That is what bothers me about it, if you have a beef and a reason to be upset, then go ahead and post away. But in my estimation, right now the only people that seem to post about these types of topics are just trying to cause trouble for whatever reason. All the people coming here complaining about Marty owning this site are ridiculous, if these people were all truly upset they wouldn't be coming here. That is what normal people do, when they don't like something and it truly bothers them, they leave and go elsewhere. These people keep coming back, they keep trying to start something, so my guess is they can't possibly really be bothered by who owns the site. And that would make sense because none of us are gambling directly with this site and none of our gambling activities with the sponsors of this site are going to not pay you because of Marty. Ken made a business decision to sell, Marty made one to buy. There were some outlying issues that got cleaned up by moving the servers and business side of the site to Canada as well. Beyond that what else is there to whine about it???
And so why do you stick around if that is how you feel? I just wonder about this because this site is really suffering right now with all this whining. You can look at it realistically and be thankful that the industry has a central gathering place and respect and exchange with the talent that is here, or you can get pissed off that a guy that doesn't post or read the forums is the guy that owns the place. What will it be? Is it worth it to destroy the place and make it so that there is no good central place for ideas to flow just because you hear the owner, who hasn't done a thing to you personally, isn't the most respected guy offshore? That is what I don't get, but I guess I never will because I would rather contribute to something good instead of trying to point out the bad in anything and everything. I think there are a lot of people that feel as I do, but they are getting drowned out by the core of haters that just love to vent over nothing that personally affects them.

I think the issue is: do you want to support a man who has stolen money from your fellow player. I don't think any of this is meant to "destroy the RX" but to pressure the owner into paying. What other recourse or method of collecting do the players have?
Remember WE send them our money and TRUST them to pay us when we ask for it back. Without TRUST you have no bookie business.

Nolter's company was processing credit cards for him at the same time he was ripping off multiple sportsbooks. How convenient that Marty has cash and Nolter is living in exile, first in Brazil, then in Aruba and now who knows.
