Im going to reconsider tomorrows play on Germany. No official play for me, and maybe its the fact that I am very angry Argentina lost to Germany. But i think Spain could potentially take care of them.
The game vs Argentina was extremely odd. The Germans scored a quick one at the beginning changing the whole course for the rest of the game. Argentina has/had a terrible defense, and Germany played very good defense. Losing 4-0 doesn't do justice but losing 2-0 would have had the same effect. When a team is losing and you get close to the end of a game where you know you must win to qualify, you are likely to give up on your defense to provide more offensive power. Argentina choked because Germany played a much better defensive match, and Argentina simply sucked (clear example would be Schweinsteiger's play which leaded to a goal).
Germany will have a much harder time against a team that in my opinion has a much better defense, including my fav defender in the world (Puyol). I don't consider what they did against Argentina impressive, therefore im gonna stay away from suggesting you anything.
I'll tell you one thing though... i'd put my chips on the winner of this game to win the World Cup. Netherlands HASN'T played good in my opinion. They have a solid offense but their defense sucks more than Argentinas. Very shakey in my opinion and im very surprised they haven't lost yet.
Not to underestimate Uruguay, but they gave Netherlands a great match yesterday. And Uruguay isn't even that amazing.....

You can't be serious with this comment, Martinga.
I'm not a big Germany fan, but they dismantled Argentina in every aspect of the game.

martinga, u did see the WC qualifying campaigns of both argentina and germany so this is playing out, and did play out. stick with your 1st instinct and the mannschaft team approach vs david villa, go with what u know and gl.
I had ger at 2.5/1 dogs vs arg and will roll with the quality of the german team play

I mentioned it was a defensive match. Argentina had shots but Germany managed to defend them really good. Argentina played TERRIBLE defense, making it easy for Germany to score. (as mentioned, first play where Otamendi should have covered Muller, the Schweinsteiger play). A good defensive team would have given Germany a much harder time scoring, but also less chance of attacking (considering how well Germany has played defensively). A loss is a loss in a world cup, and 2-0 or 4-0 loss still kicks you out. Once again i'll bring up Portugal winning 7-0 against North Korea, yet still playing like crap. Just cause you win by 3+ doesn't make you unstoppable.

Im out my friend. Maybe a play in the finals, but these games i rather stay away from. That said the predictions i made were half decent. 1-0 for Spain came true, and the 3-1 i made for Netherlands was close to becoming true if it wasn't for that 92nd min goal by Uruguay.

glad to hear. i liked spain all along.

Please don't fall into temptation. Stay away from this one might be one of the healthiest and best things you can do. Again, i would rather put my money on the winner of this match to beat Netherlands.....

I never claimed that Germany is UNSTOPPABLE Martinga.
I was disputing your comment that Germany's dismantling of Argentina was not impressive.
Which I still view as a ridiculous comment.

good call on the spain lean martinga

I was watching fox soccer channel and the commentator made a great point last night saying ", It seems as people are underestimating spain with all these 1-0, 1-0, 1-0 squeakers, but squeakers they were not, You can totally dominate a team and win 1-0." (example SPAIN v GERMANY yesterday) I fell in this boat
