I really don't bet on Huddersfield very often but this team looks like a strong contender for outright promotion and League One newcomers, Southend, will have their hands full in this one.

Dunno my friend, you really think that Chelsea/Arsenal's ending in a draw? If it does, I'd imagine the draw would have to be 1-1. 0-0 seems unlikely, as Chelsea I believe scored in all of their home games last year and seemingly only got better. I think the struggle with Wigan was just a case of getting ready for this one against rivals Arsenal. But whatever you say, I'm with it. Time to bust out of this rut.

The embarassment of riches that Chelsea have could end up to be JUST an embarassment. With all of the quality players at Chelsea, Mourinho has decided to employ a rotation system and it has unsettled quite a few players. A couple of players (Carvalho and Robben) have already publicly voiced some crticism towards Mourinho. Chelsea have too many players that are first team players and the pressure to perform will be immense for fear of losing your starting spot in the team. This could be a positive if the players handle the situation properly but I think it is going to work against Mourinho and Chelsea.

Everton wins 1-0. This is a BITTER disappointment for Bolton. The Wanderers outplayed Everton the whole match.

Chelsea were also lucky to get the fluke goal from Drogba and win 1-0. Arsenal did not deserve to lose that game.

Liking it Markie Mark. We need some good fortune today. Any particulary reason you bailed on CP, Gillingham, and Millwall?

Guru, I bailed on CP, Gillingham and Millwall for these reasons:

CRYSTAL PALACE: Walsall is a good League One team and Matty Fryatt will play today. Fryatt is a fantastic striker who is of Premiership quality and he could be the x-factor today. Fryatt will not be with Walsall much longer, as several Premiership teams are vying for his services and I have a feeling he may use this game (on a slightly bigger stage) to display his talents as he seeks the BIG BUCKS. I am not saying Walsall will win, but a 1-1 draw is not out of the question.

With Gillingham and Millwall, there are just too many question marks as to who is injured and who will be rested. Gillingham, for sure, will rest their best mid-fielder. For a League One team to do this really sends a message that they are not taking this match seriously.

Notts Forest down 2-1 to Macclesfield at home on the Half Time whistle. Forest are a disgrace. The glory team of years gone by (that EVERYBODY picked to win League One outright), might have Macclesfield as an opponent alot more often next season in League Two if they don't improve.

C'MON SHEFFIELD!! Bang one home!

I think Liverpool being down 1-0 in Anfield with most of their regulars playing is funny myself... Even if all they have to do is not lose 3-0 or 4-2 to qualify

This is a bad spot for Liverpool. The league has started and they have a comfortable lead from the 1st Leg of this match-up. They are playing far too relaxed of a style, thinking that they dont want (or need) to exert anything but a minimal amount of effort.

The crystal ball says that CSKA Sofia will not have the lead when this game is over. Live betting on William Hill currently has a Liverpool WIN at +130 and a DRAW at +220.

Dunno, these odds seem really really good for CSKA... Seems as though it could get worse for Liverpool before it gets better. They have absolutely no reason to try to win this game.

A few upsets in the making in the English League Cup, apart from Notts Forest. Barnet has gone up 3-1 on Bristol City, Blackpool up 2-1 over Hull and Yeovil is winning 1-0 over Ipswich, as well as Northampton up 2-0 over QPR and Lincoln 2-1 over Crewe.
