Cuban loves to hear himself talk. But his argument starts falling apart like a dollar watch when you look at Sterling's overall record of bad misconduct. Sterling is like the criminal who has gotten away with murder for many years, but ends up getting got and put away for life for stealing a candy bar....
Great point. Absolutely agree that Sterling's prior actions were far worse and should have led to his removal. I do disagree on Cuban though. This isn't his attempt to defend Sterling, or listen to himself talk. This is Cuban speaking on the larger issue of removing an owner based on how they think or feel. I see this as Cuban trying to protect himself and his team. I think this Cuban quote says it all, "None of us have pure thoughts; we all live in glass houses." He's saying it's hypocritical for him to vote to remove Sterling, based on Sterling's bigoted thoughts, when he has bigoted thoughts of his own. All that said, your original point is valid. Sterling's record of discrimination suits should have been enough to remove him on its own. It's ridiculous that the NBA didn't take action years ago.
