How many dumb quarterbacks have you seen be "good pros"?

How many quarterbacks have been good pros after only starting for 2 seasons? Rodgers doesn't count as he started 2 years at Cal. and 1 year in community college and that is just because he didn't have any scholarship offers.

How many good pros throw 18 td and 13 int the year before they come out?

All his off the field crap is not immaturity. It's who he is. He will be worse off at 30 than he is at 22.

Terry Bradshaw and Dan Marino produced some of the worst Wonderlic scores ever. Blaine Gabbert and Matt Leinhart were 2 of the highest in recent years. You can be real life dumb and be smart on the football field. It's doable.

Then again Vince Young and Jeff George scored super low on the Wonderlic and might be better comparisons to Winston because of issues away from the field.

I would say is actually the standard

There are players like Brady and Rogers, who seem to be real smart outside the field

I don't need a wonderlic test to tell me who is stupid and who isn't.

Peyton scored average on the wonderlic. He is mostly know for being as cerebral as there is on the field. In fact, him and Leaf were 1 point apart on the Wonderlic. Off the top of my head I could name 5 or 6 questions on the wonerlic

Easiest is circle the ones that doesn't belong....It will be 3 circles and a triangle. Another one, what number is next in this this sequence? 1, 3, 6. 10, _.

Hardest one is Bonnie has 3 pairs of socks, 4 shirts, and 5 pants. How many outfits can she wear without wearing the same thing over again..

Paul is older than Jane by 2 years. Jane is Younger than Shelby by 3 years. Who is older shelby or Paul? A. Shelby. B. Paul. C. Not enough information

I've heard it all now. They will build him up likely crazy because he is black. In the last 5 days, he has been compared to Luck and Peyton.
They were so impressed with his football intelligence because he could go up to the whiteboard and draw one of his Florida St. plays. He has been in the program for 3 years. Congrats.

Tampa go ahead and take him #1, you know you are. Over/ under on his first sexual misconduct on a white girl. If i were the girls father, the girl would be in huge trouble and be treated and Winston would never be able to throw a ball again or fuck. He would be deported.

Agree with this.

The fact is, the odds are that Winston will be a bust.

People's memories are too short.

Everyone thought Vince Young & JaMarcuss Russell were cant-misses also.

Far too many similarities...

What similarities does he have to either? We grouping him in with Russell because the guy had one pic taken of him with a belly?

Vince Young ran an offense that wasn't tailored to the NFL. JaMarcus Russell was beloved by scouts because he was huge and could throw the ball a mile in the air. I just don't see the comparisons really.

Personally I think Winston can be a NFL starter if he gets his shit together and stops doing dumb things off the field. His upside is way higher than Mariota's. Mariota seems like the much more adjusted QB but his gimmick offense and iffy arm have bust written all over him IMO. Winston much better on the field. I wouldn't take either with the #1 pick to be my franchise QB but Winston, on the field, is very good. Played in pro style offense, strong arm, mobility. The fact that his arm health is under scrutiny is scary though. He's pitched for a long time. Tommy John potentially? Is there risk to blow out an arm like that in the NFL since the throwing motion is completely different?
