I graded Bethune as a push.

When I first posted it, I posted -8.5. because that's what I played. But the line jumped to 9 as I was posting so I edited the post and put -9 because that was the fair line at that time. If you got -8.5, you won, and I hope a lot of people did. But if you got 9 it was a push. I think it's more fair to grade it as a push than a win.

I don't make a number, persay. I make a distribution of possible values, which is approximately a normal distribution though not exact. I then use some statistics to find the probability that the game goes over or under the number, based on what my mean value is in the distribution.

I have all three of today's games with about between a 55% and a 60% chance of going over. Hope that helps a bit.
