Looks like the decision is to keep Wiggins and sign Love or an equivalent free agent next year. Best of both worlds. Smart move by Cavs. Now if only they had made another smart move 13 months ago and decided against drafting Bennett, they would really be in good shape.

Yeah should've just taken Noel, that would've been a really nice fit for them. They just didn't have the gumption to take a guy who tore his knee 3 months earlier, Noel looks like his D could be off the charts if he can stay healthy.

I like keeping Wiggins and having FA $ to get Love or another big name but it does need to be said that they would need him to pick Cle over NY/LAL/GS next year. Might be tough....Having cap room is nice but it can become meaningless pretty fast if you strikeout on the big FAs.

Seems like Love to GS is picking up fwiw...

Kevin Love doesn't suit to play with Lebron. He is an offensive minded player with poor defensive play. He will fit in perfectly with the phoenix team when they used to have that offensive coach and nash and others. Like one of the executive said, kevin love requires a ton of possession and you will have to change the entire game plan you will have to play the run game to succeed...i don't think cleveland want to do that. Defense wins in post season and they are better of keeping wiggins.

Getting benched in the 4th quarter of his 2nd playoff game

Probably not a high point in K Love's career

K Love goes from the 2nd best player in the NBA to the 4th or 5 best player on his own team in 365 days

To be fair he did have 5 fouls but any star player still gets back in a close game in that spot. Cle has done this with him 5-10x this year.

I tend to think he won't be there long-term but who knows.

So basically they gave away a future top 5 player for free.

Most people seem to think he won't opt out this summer because the cap is making a huge leap next summer.

I dunno he could stay, if they win the championship then all will be good in the world.

In the Cavs defense I feel like most teams wouldn't have the balls to turn down that deal in their exact situation.
