Let me spell this out in black and white for some of you too limited to comprehend what my complaint is.
I have no specific beef with MAKE. Actually, I give him a great deal of credit for being smart. He's building a substantial e-mail list and has a good chance of cashing in when he decides it's the right time to start selling (which he will eventually do if he can maintain the winning ways).
My complaint is that allowing contributors to post records on plays not posted here encourages scam artists to run the same game. Register, hope to get hot, go for the e-mails, and then start selling (not to mention peddling the list). If they lose, simply re-register and begin the process again. In effect, this allows anyone to basically take a shot at generating business with absolutely zero risk/cash involved.
Those of you with IQ's above 40 have hopefully determined that my complaint is not with MAKE...it's with the Rx for violating their own supposed code of ethics by allowing a member to post a record that cannot be verified by any forum member should he choose to do the research.
Suffice to say I'm disappointed that the forum moderators here have evidently decided that it's now "anything goes." In essence, what they are doing is opening the door for illegitimate services masquerading as individual posters, along with guys in search of an easy buck. Clearly, this is not a good thing.
And for those of you that still cannot figure it out....I hope MAKE wins 60 in a row for you! I'm not rooting against him. I'm only saying that if those 60 plays are not verifiable by EVERYONE that's a member here (regardless of whether they give MAKE their e-mail address) then the record should not be posted here.
