Shopping for the best line is a huge key to anyone's success. The bes tline can save you boatloads of money thoughout the year. There is no difference between shopping for the best line and shopping for anything. Don't settle for the 1st thing you see because its convenient. Shop around and perhaps you can find the same thing at a better price.

Spread, Id prefer not saying the exact amount I bet. Obviously I wish I was betting a 5 dimes per unit. 20/20 hindsight

Your absolutely right about line shopping. I'm living proof that shopping for the best line is critical. I played your plays last night, and believe it or not I actually LOST money. I got the over at 10.5, Walker at -135 instead of -125, Rolen at -110 instead of -105, none of my books had the home run prop, and last but not least I split the Houston +2.5 prop in half and played Hous +210 with the other half. If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have none at all.

Actually, I did line shop - those were the best lines available at the books that I have. Perhaps the better argument for my case is to have MORE OUTS. And to get your bet down EARLY. Thanks anyway, Mad, I'll definitely get it back.

B. Yankees to beat Cards in series +283 (4 units) -- Pending (Placed after Yankees were up 1-0 vs Sox)

So I had a bad night but it helped me in the long run!
