What pisses me off is the way that his name is almost as big as the title of the movie itself, there are much better directors out there that dont even get that kind of treatment. Signs was ok, despite this thread I will still see the movie in question here as I have heard that some people actually liked it.
friend of mine said he didnt even come up with the idea for the ending in 6th sense. apparently he had that script and kept taking it to his writing class but no one liked it as they all felt it was missing something. Finally someone in the class told him he should make the main character dead and thats how the boy sees him. He did this and went on to make a lot of money off that movie. Funny how none of his movies afterwards have even touched the 6th semse, a movie where he didnt even think of the ending. goes to show hes a hack.
