hes not 3-0 in bowl sides this year....he got destroyed in the reg season this year, he even quit posting his record..he did tear it up in bowl season last year although he missed most of his top 5 biggest plays...going tout seemed to get him this year
I've noticed over the years how the "Jekyll & Hyde" parody/syndrom grabs hold with sports handicappers. "Dr. Jekyll" cruises along with a reasonable degree of success, posting his plays, accurately keeping win/loss records, backing his slections with sound logic and reasoning why this is his top-"play" of the day, or a 5* selection etc. It makes sense (many times dollars).
Then......he decides to go "tout" thinking he is invincible and, "Mr. Hyde" enters the picture: He begins to act irrational and, in some severe cases, goes completely "bezerk" (you know what I mean, "chasing", doubling or tripling down, making stupid proposition bet, increasing the number of plays, etc.) and he ends up "in the tank" usually with a severe hang-over or, in some cases, mental disorders resulting in his having to go into hiding or even rehab or both. We've all seen this scene play out many times.
Going "tout" is indeed a dangerous undertking. I doubt if LSU-Pete has ever been in rehab; Most of those "Lousiana Boys" know how to take care of themselves.
