1) I know McNeese is extremely solid and already has an unexpected loss. They will undoubtedly bring their best effort.
2) The close call Alabama had with Arkansas State was not like previous poor showings where the Tide would turn it over 20+ times. They only had 10 turnovers. Instead, they were done in by horrid shooting and too many fouls. 6-31 from 3,(Sears and Wrightsell were a combined 1-14) , 28-44 free throws and 24 fouls. An average night of shooting would have covered the spread easily.
3) Purdue is on deck for Bama, but Oats doesn’t tolerate performances like last Friday. Once again, McNeese has players, but Bama is on a mission to return to the Final Four and win it all. Looking for a much sharper showing tonight—especially out of the gate. If I misread this game , then I am done taking up space in the forum and will see you next year. Good luck with your action.
