Even though Bozzie is on my ignore list, want to say I'm sorry for your loss. I know it's tough, but the grieving process will help you get to the other side of this.

Thank you both..i honestly wasn't looking for sympathy but its very thoughtful...at one point crudebar and i had a blow up about justincruz and him passing away ..i felt like crudebar was making light of the situation and i lost my shit on him..Anger is a part of loss / depression it seems..I PMed him a while back and apologized and explained the situation...he was cool and we moved on successfully.

Never know what someone is facing privately...

I'm always willing to listen with candor and help wherever i can if anyone here needs it.

Thanks again for the good words.

Did JustinCruise really pass? I just thought he disappeared

How would Crude know?

If he did, that's sad, he was far too young

You seem to be very level headed and a positive outlook. No doubt you’ll be successful in whatever finds you.

Yeah...disappointment for sure and pure heartache ..the worst of the worst.
Knowning it happens to everyone at somepoints in our lives helps...

Good on you for the new additions...

I love animals.

Eastern philosophy very much interests me...

Quoting here...

More simply put, suffering exists; it has a cause; it has an end; and it has a cause to bring about its end.
You might enjoy the Eastern philosophy of the late, great Bob Ross, the painter:

"Gotta have a little sadness once in awhile so you know when the good times come. I'm waiting on the good times now."

My own personal thoughts are that human beings get joy and self worth out of overcoming struggles. It gives us a sense of self-worth. When we have no strife or troubles, life becomes all the same so we have nothing to contrast with it. You don't realize how calm a river is until you hit the rapids.

Lost my fun loving, bright , beloved sister this year ...suddenly ..a life changing event... its a short ride.
Just now catching up to this. Sorry man. Lost my big brother about two years ago. I still talk to him in my head. Just hope he still hears. That may sound crazy to some but I believe in spirituality. It gives me comfort.

Yes I remember & couple others here posting about it as well

You might remember after my last one passed 10+ years ago I've always avoided having another cuz didn't want to go through the heartache again

But the two little ones I inherited about a year ago bring me a lot of joy every day & more than most people could

If you haven't yet replaced the one you lost, don't make the same mistake I did and wait so long
Losing a pet can be just as heart wrenching as losing a human loved one.

To an outsider, it sounds ridiculous but the truth is your mind can't tell the difference.

That's because to the human mind (or metaphorically, the heart) an emotional attachment is an emotional attachment.

The more emotional strings your mind creates with someone or something, the more memories you share, the deeper the bond and therefore the more heartbreaking the loss.

Of course the timeframe for grieving is different for everyone and should never be rushed or suppressed in order to achieve proper healthy healing.

Grieving is not unique to humans, animals grieve as well.

I'm really sorry to hear about your sister. Losing a loved one can be incredibly tough, especially when it happens suddenly. Life can be full of unexpected twists, and it's a reminder to cherish every moment. If you ever want to talk or share memories, you can share them here. We're all here for you!
