I don't think enjoying life all the time is possible .. excepting that you will suffer at times is critical to happiness ..life is partly pain and nobody gets out unscathed.

Yes I remember & couple others here posting about it as well

You might remember after my last one passed 10+ years ago I've always avoided having another cuz didn't want to go through the heartache again

But the two little ones I inherited about a year ago bring me a lot of joy every day & more than most people could

If you haven't yet replaced the one you lost, don't make the same mistake I did and wait so long

Yeah...disappointment for sure and pure heartache ..the worst of the worst.
Knowning it happens to everyone at somepoints in our lives helps...
