Beg to differ. One of the most dominant postseason pitching performances in the history of baseball.

Back to the Cubs and their fans. TH is right on the money. After the season they had, I couldn't believe my ears when I heard the booing after they lost last night. The Cubs and their stupid fans and their greedy ownership deserve another 100 years of futility.

Yes it was dominating, after the gift blown call.

Only difference between Cub and Astro fans is there are a few Cub fans who were alive when the Cubs last won.

I thought your point was that they weren't the best team, not that they got lucky in Game 2 (which was not a deciding game, anyway, so you can't say for certain that the Sox wouldn't have won that series regardless).

They proved without a doubt that they were the best team in 05. In fact, if they would have lost to the Angels THAT would have proved your point that best team (the Sox, in this case) doesn't always win.

No guarantee, but down 0-2 in a five-game series going to Anaheim (same as the Cubs are doing now), I like Anaheim's chances to win one out of three. The Sox took advantage and dominated the playoffs/WS. Sox had the better record, but I thought Angels were the better team then.
