Tekari,
Thanks buddy, I see it now. A big majority of my plays are based on overnight lines, regardless the sports I'm betting on. The same goes with WNBA. That's why I played it @ Olympic last night. First of all, thats the way I usually save a point or two, like in that charlotte game yesterday (i played un 130.5 and 10 minutes later it was down to 128.5). Secondly, I'm usually out during the day time, especially in summer, and I can not wait for other shops to post their lines. Today I have a day off, and I could have been waiting, but I was quite satisfied with what Olympic offered last night, and I played it right away.
Thanks for the info thaugh.
By the way, here is a little something, like a writeup, why I like this one. Just for Kody, even thaugh I feel it will now become a major jinx
First of all, I know very well that these two teams can play lights out offensive basketball, and that's why this total is this high.
It is not out of question that they combine for a NBA total tonight.
But, there are a few things that I liked about the under.
First, they are 3-1 under the total in their last 4 hth meetings, scoring on average 130 pts, which is some 10-11 pts under the average total for these games (140.8).
Three of these four games were actually kinda low scoring affaires for WNBA (128, 125, 114)
Second, in their latest hth matchups, Connecticut was the team that dictated the tempo of the game, and usually the Connecticut's streaks were prevailing in games vs Washington. Hopefully, it should be more of the same this time around, as Connecticut plays slightly lower scoring affaires than Washington lately, even thaugh they went over the total in their last four as well.
Third, Washington plays on 2 days of rest tonight, after a 4 game in 6 days stretch, including a game without rest. The extra day of rest can only help their defense, which is struggling mightly.
Connecticut plays on 5 days of rest, in the middle of a 5 games home stand, and they are a well rested team, poised to make the playoffs, and to win their 5th straight game, against one of the league's worst teams.
In their last 2 games where they played on 3+ days of rest, they went 2-0 under, totaling 132 and 127 points.
Finally, This is the third time these two teams meet this season. Connecticut usually plays slower and slower games vs their opponents as the season advances. Here is that breakdown :
1st time they met a team this season : 9-4 over (151 pts)
2nd time they met a team this season : 5-4 over (143 pts)
3rd time they met a team this season : 2-0 under (118.5 pts).
Should I also mention that their two games were they played against a team for the third time are their lowest (116), and third lowest (121) totals of the season.
Also, the first one was their worst offensive production of the season, and the second one was their best defensive performance of the season.
Good luck.
