Too many points here. I believe realistic chance to win straight up.

You can only imagine the embarrassment that Texas has over letting Taysom Hill rush for 259 yards and BYU a school record 550 yards in last years contest. That effectively ended the Mack Brown era. In comes defensive minded Charlie Strong. Apparently he has watched the game tape from last year over and over and will not let that rush beat down happen again today. My original lean was on Texas, but since then they are now without QB Ash, and three starting linemen, including their center who had 40 career starts. The line you will see today has collectively 5 career starts. Not good against a solid and deep BYU defense. Texas held North Texas last week to 94 total yards and although BYU will be much more effective moving the ball, they will not come close to last years numbers. BYU is as weak in the kicking game as I have ever seen. When held to field goal opportunities they will essentially be a crapshoot and they will probably end up leaving some much needed points off the board. Texas, even with Ash, would have been run oriented. I expect that is even more the case now as they are breaking in the new QB for his first career start. BYU is a bend but don't break type of defense and although Texas will move the ball I don't see a lot of big play capabilities. Both defenses will keep this game tight and effectively a low scoring game with some missed opportunities on offense by both teams.
