Uh, I'm not aware of a ESPN boycott Chop. Those were your words. Why their losing money is up for debate.
I just don't watch their talk shows which lean left, woke etc.
Live games are fine for me.
If this is some kind of contradiction for you, so be it.
Oh I’m sorry I can’t keep up
I thought everyone was up in arms about Disney being woke .
If ESPN did not get boycotted why not then ?

Why boycott kohls and and bud light and not Disney when both are promoting the same woke bullshit

Disney has been boycotted for a while now once they started including it all in their popular Marvel movies and animations, as well as changes at their parks which is not considered family friendly anymore by a lot of ppl

I know a lot about this ongoing stuff because I'm big into their Marvel movies

Moral of the story is they pissed off half of their audience & customers

They have received credit for the first time in a while leaving anything woke or same-sex stuff out of their latest huge 3rd Guardians Of The Galaxy movie. Meaning they are getting the hint

They aren't going broke, but they have felt it, hence the thousands of layoffs

I get you're trying to thread the needle here. I see people are boycotting Disney. Great. Hope it shakes those folks up. The boycott seems to have an affect on AB, despite you telling us all boycotts don't work.
I have zero interest in Disney, kinda like Kohl's , don't shop there.
I know there is a connection between ESPN and Disney. I will still watch live sporting events , where the wokeness doesn't seem to bleed into those live events.
Maybe the Disney boycott will serve the overall purpose. Can't hurt., the way I see it.

Sorry you're having a hard time keeping up Chop. We're doing the best we can.

There are approximately 340 million ppl in the U.S.

About half believe one thing, and the other half the opposite

So let's say 1/2 of actual consumers on one side claim they boycott

We all know 100% of them won't follow through

So let's say only 1/3 of them do

These companies are definitely feeling it

World today look more like what dems had in mind or republicans?

This to me is drawing a line in sand. It getting stepped over. Drawing another line. It getting stepped over. Over and over again.

How many lines you going to draw? How much credit you going to take because your perceived current line hasn't been stepped over yet?

I don't agree with Disney's moves last 1-2 years putting all of that stuff in kids' movies & cartoons, but I'll be there with the kids a few days next month (Floridian's special)

My whole point is if you gonna boycott , bud light , kohls, Target etc….. but not ESPN/Disney it makes you look hypocritical
If you never said you boycotted Disney that makes it even worse .

If not why not ?

Why does bud light and kohls get punished for being woke but not Disney

I support the Disney boycott. Is that good enough ? I personally don't have any connections with Disney, packages, programming, apps, nothing. Hope it works.
Like I said, the damage the Disney boycott can do is trickle down to ESPN and their studio shows.
I'm going to keep doing me. Hope this clarifies it for you better.

Of these boycotting---any of these places stop selling what you use to go in and buy there and replaced it with "homosexual" stuff. Because then I am on board. If they stopped selling stuff that appealed to the majority to appease the minority, even though it's there business and they can do as they please I would agree they are shoving it down your throat. Is this the case?

Or is the matter you're just homophobic/transphobic and have to disguise? Kinda like people who think the KKK are gone because they stopped wearing the sheet.(i know this analogy will trigger some)

There's only one side that wants to kill your free speech.

Don't you fucking dare promote boycotts if you are a professional athlete. WTF is going on with this country?

Toronto Blue Jays reliever Anthony Bass issued a public apology one day after sharing a video on social media that endorses anti-LGBTQIA+ boycotts.

Bass shared a video on his Instagram stories Monday that called for viewers to boycott Target and Bud Light because of those companies' recent promotion of LGBTQIA+ Pride campaigns.
update

The Toronto Blue Jays have designated reliever Anthony Bass for assignment, just days ahead of the team’s Pride Weekend celebration and after Bass shared a post on social media last month that called the sale of LGBTQIA+ apparel “evil” and “demonic.”
The righty quickly apologized, saying that he was “working hard” to educate himself, although he added that he didn’t think the post in question was hateful.
“I do not,” Bass told reporters. “That’s why I posted it originally. When I look back at it, I can see how people would view it that way and that’s why I was apologetic.”
The team accepted his apology, with GM Ross Atkins saying that “I felt his apology and his accountability to be authentic or we would be talking about a different outcome, quite frankly.” Fans, however, weren’t having it, even booing Bass over two appearances in his home ballpark. In an effort to smooth things over, Toronto had planned to have the 35-year-old catch the ceremonial first pitch from Toronto LGBTQIA+ activist leZlie Lee Kam before Friday’s game against the Minnesota Twins.
But that plan hadn’t been well-received, at least if the internet is any indication, and after Bass gave up two runs in his latest outing on Monday the team decided that it had seen enough.
“Performance was a large aspect of the decision,” Atkins said of the move. “Distraction was a small part of it and something we had to factor in.”
On Thursday, Bass said that he deleted the post because “it was the right thing to do,” and he didn’t want to be a distraction to his teammates.
“But I stand by my personal beliefs,” Bass added. “And everyone is entitled to their personal beliefs, right? Also, I mean no harm towards any groups of people.
“My focus from the get-go should have been doing my job and being accepting of everyone’s decisions and views in life. Through this process, I’ve learned that. Moving forward, I will definitely know better than to post my personal beliefs on my social media platforms.”
The veteran right-hander has recorded a 4.95 ERA in 22 appearances during the 2023 season with Toronto. Bass has also spent time with the Chicago Cubs, Houston Astros, Miami Marlins, San Diego Padres, and Texas Rangers throughout his 12-year MLB career.
