There was a dispute about the wording of the bet. I don't remember the specifics. I was not the only one in the dispute. When some people I respected weighed in saying that I was on the wrong end of the dispute I paid immediately. The whole thing was adjudicated in a day or two.

But crudeass bringing it up as a smirch on my character is just further evidence of who he is. He was paid. And he was paid as soon as the dispute was resolved.

Disputes happen all the time in life. It's the action at the time of resolution that counts. I did everything expected of me. And promptly.

What you're missing is numerous people said they had no clue how you thought you won based off the obvious terminology of the bet along with the fact you were offered much better odds on Trump than market as this bet was harder to win.
