That's a pretty loose interpretation of Darwinism, but even Darwin would likely acknowledge that homosexuality is part of nature since there is overwhelming evidence throughout human existence (and non-human existence, seeing as it's been identified in hundreds of species). Maybe take some time to read about "overdominance" in evolutionary theory.

There are tens of millions of gay people in the world today, but it's not natural? Explain that.

Were all those people just "brainwashed"?

Only argument I've seen so far is "Men have stick, women have hole", and "God said so".

At least in these times (whether people agree or not) more people are out and openly gay. Hopefully it leads to less people hating themselves and less suicides.

I have people in my life where they have gay kids. I know they arent happy about it and its something that we dont discuss. But, they love their kids as they are good kids.

I've known these kids for a LONG time as well. Lets just say that we saw signs at an EARLY age. And no, it wasnt b/c a drag queen read a story to them. And no, It wasnt b/c they saw a shirt in the store. And no, it wasnt b/c they went to disney world.

Its just how the kid is and how the kid is wired.

Yep it's a common story in society. Good to know that they are still loved by their parents.

It's kind of the irony of the thread.....there wouldn't be such strong statements and movements if kids weren't suffering from having to suppress it/hide it.

I'd love my kid regardless and actually had some question marks for a while with my son. He likes girls now but who knows in the long run

I've also had several gay guys hit on me over the years

But it never bothered me. I've never understood the guy who wants to kick their azz for it. It's actually kind of flattering when you stop & think about it.
I still know the look today if we get a gay waiter when initially waited on.
My wife and daughter will ask "how do you know?" and l respond " I just know, and the eye contact"

Sure enough after they visit the table couple more times and it becomes obvious and they are like omg you are right

However, you guys need to understand the Trans stuff is a whole different thing

And no it's not ok for 2 homosexuals or trans to try & push their kid or anyone's kids to be a certain way, with what they might consider innocent manipulation, via verbally , or yes, even clothing they put their child in which clearly shows they wish for their more than likely straight kids to be just like them.
The fact that they will probably fail and the kid end up however he's meant to be is irrelevant. It's still wrong that they try to sway the kid.

It's not ok for anyone to "push" their lifestyle onto another person in a way that is deliberately manipulative, especially children. Has nothing to do with sexuality, it doesn't matter what your lifestyle is

So let me ask you this. When you had question marks regarding your son, would you intentionally keep him out of target? Even now, would you keep him out of target?

I dont know you or your son but i dont think him walking or not walking into kohls would have any influence at all on his sexuality.

This issue is not about the shirts in Target. The issue is about the push to normalize a mental illness that is damaging to children. See, there are trans activists who are openly admitting they are encouraging these behaviors and working to ensure that parents do not know about it.

I get it as a large majority of our population is straight. But there is a small percentage of our population that is homosexual so for them to have a percentage in ads, store and commercials isn't necessarily wrong or being bombarded with it. It simply went from close to 0 to whatever percent this stuff plays now---its obviously much less than heterosexual stuff.

I think it's just the perception that it's everywhere simply because it use to be close to 0. Homosexual stuff isn't everywhere.

I guess that wasn't my last post on this for a bit.

I remember a thought that gays are weird they are always having sex with each other and can't control their urges and are sexual deviants.

Its kinda ironic when you look at the heterosexual saying this and then u see the number of them in jail over not being able to control themselves no matter the circumstances around women.

The former is strange because its new information and gross to the majority and the latter is normalized and seems nature because it is to the majority.

Could be there are just good and bad in any group of people. No more no less. But the lesson that should be learned is you shouldn't be worried about what you perceive as being normalized(and don't like) but what you tolerate because you have normalized it.
