I think that you are counting your chickens a little early and you will probably lose this wager.

So the real question here is .....Do you intend to pay GIJOE ? I dont think so ...but if you are...then you both should step up and put the $$$ on the table.

It was an agreed bet. He just missed quoted with an error when trying to do so. That's why if you check down further you will see that he CONFIRMS the bet. However, he doesn't have PM enabled so there's really no way for me to contact him except for posting here.

I'm not counting my chickens. I've been very busy for the past moth with the holidays. From my business, trying to finish up my degree, girlfriend, and family and friends coming in and out of town for the holidays; I just haven't had time to think about this. The playoffs have now finally started and when I tried to PM GIJOE he didn't have that option enabled, so this is why I'm reaching out this way.

YES, I do intend to pay IF I lose, but the real question is whether or not he will pay, or if he thinks that our bet is still on or not. Another reason why I posted this.

I have absolutely no problem finding a medium that is trusted on here to hold the $$$

i actually live about 45 minutes away from him. anyone who has ever been to or is from southern ca knows thats only about 15miles lol

I have been a member here for 10 years and I know you dont make a bet with anybody on any forums. I got 5 accounts at off-shores and I am not going to make a bet with a stranger.

I put this quote in because he wanted to bet even money and I was laughing because I knew I could get 7.5 to 5. Thats why I said they were good odds because he thinks I didnt know whats going on. Why should I bet even money with a stranger when I got tons of money in the off-shore and can get 7.5 to 5.




Damn, thats some good odds you are giving that Steelers don't make super bowl. Let me think about that. I will get right back to you. Where else can I get even money that the Steelers make it to the Super Bowl? How about $500.

There is nothing in the thread that verifies the bet posted by BucksNotYucks and obviously GI Joe is just posting that he was able to find 3 to 2 odds on the same bet at VegasVic.com.

Oh well. As far as I'm concerned, when I see someone say "$500 on the Steelers NOT making the SuperBowl...YOU GOT A DEAL."--I constitute that as having a DEAL. If he didn't want the bet, he could've just posted DEAL IS OFF BECAUSE I GOT A BETTER DEAL. Just because he said he got a better deal that didn't ultimately mean he wouldn't honor our bet. I didn't know what the 2nd line meant, I've never heard of vegasvic. I thought he was referring to a poster from the forum who was "
vic."

All it shows me is that his word means nothing.

Show me a book that allows you to cancel a bet after odds change.
