And now will we still hear USC naming Cal when they run off the list of their "tough home schedule"

And Michigans game with Ball St.

Strong finish by USC over UCLA, Cal, and Notre Dame, probably would help them surpass Fla's FSU and Ark/SEC-CG in BCS Points, should both win out..for the Fiesta berth?

Plenty of incomplete/dog-with-fleas teams in NCAA Ball this Fall.

yep Rail gets his props and a bump. USC certainly looks like they control their own destiny except for maybe Rutgers squeaking by them

Best avatar ever? Pretty sure that award would go to you, my dear. I'm sick and can't get over the crap that I watched today with that Illinois game.

Very sweet of you to say that about my picture Illini, but who can compete with the Chief? I can't believe they are going to bow to "political correctness" and get rid of him. I wish I could have been at the game Saturday to see him for possibly the last time. I take that back, I've had too many Illinois heartbreakers this year, probably better I wasn't there. Hope you did well this weekend.

I agree.. As much as I love my trojans, I think ND beats them as well. Already planning on putting 1.5* on the ML...

Notre Dame will win the game if it's close.. Luck of the Irish..:toast:

really? why? I'm surprised that a USC fan would be scared of ND and even put money on them. i guess time will tell.

go USC :howdy:

ND has the luck of the Irish and this years Trojans aren't even close to last years team.. Also ND seems to play better on the road for some reason..

think ND is ready to atone for the debacle that was Michigan.

Game doesn't get any bigger for them, and ending the nation's longest home winning streak should propel them into the championship.

there will be alot of ND fans at that game.

also there might be 70-80 points scored in the notre dame/usc game the way notre dame plays offense and defense

you aint gonna shut down brady quinn, and you know usc will get theirs on that d

in the end, it should come down to turn out like the texas/usc game, whoever can get a defensive stop wins...edge USC

USC 35
Notre Dame 31

USC may lose to Cal this week :103631605

USC off big win, in the driver's seat, lots of pressure for them to win, just saw Cal lose to zona, may have a letdown

Cal off a loss, has absolutely nothing to lose, and will pull out all the stops

Florida has at least beaten some good teams...ND has beat no body.

The biggest fraud is USC. Just ask Adande from the LA Times whose article was posted here. USC lost to Oregon State. Are we somehow forgetting that?

I'm not going gaga over the Trojans beating Oregon the other day. All my buddies down here are, and the news people too..

Oregon is a terrible team on the road, they almost lost to Fresno St on the road.. USC is a vulnerable team.. And this is coming from a life long trojan fan too...

I think the biggest fraud in college football is Florida..

Obviously, I'm a Florida homer, but I think people are down on Florida just because they had a few close calls the past few weeks. People are seeming to disregard more and more, just because of a couple of weeks of football WINS, that they have played one of the more difficult schedules in the country - and even in the game that was their only loss, they were winning most of that game and held their top 25 opponent to zero offensive touchdowns in their own house in a primetime game.

If Florida cashes in a few more red zone opportunities on offense, they win some of their past few games by double digits and they are still in the driver's seat. But they are getting penalized for winning right now and people aren't happy that Florida isn't winning with enough "style".

No team in the country has beaten as many top 10 teams as Florida, top 25 teams as Florida, and teams with a winning record as Florida. If they were overrated and a fraud, everytime you pit them against a good team they should lose - ala LSU or at Tennessee. If they were overrated or a fraud, their defense would have been exposed at some point this season, at least a fluke 30 point give up one time. It hasnt - not once.

People can criticize margin of victory, but at the end, this team finds a way to win, and that's what sports are all about. In no other sport in all of sports, is a team penalized for winning, including the NFL. Their defense has consistently held opponents in the teens game in and game out, and when your opponent is scoring 14 points every game, it's easy to win football games, regardless of what your offense is doing. If they start cashing in in the red zone - look out.

Florida's defense has never shown signs of being overrated or a fluke. No team has ever came out and hung 30 on them. The highest scoring output they have given up is by far 27 to Auburn, and Auburn didnt get in the endzone on offense in their own backyard.

Florida's offense is a top-30 offense, has loads of studs and playmakers, and is gaining almost 400 yards a game, and having mental miscues, penalties and turnovers in the red zone. Their offense does not get shut down. If they find a way to correct their red zone mental mistakes, this team will get back to winning by double digits, and everyone will be all over them again.

They also play fantastic special teams outside of their field goal kicking. Their punting is outstanding. They've had 3 punt returns for TDs called back on questionable block in the back penalties. They havent given up any big returns. They have blocked a lot of field goals and punts this year.

Florida is 9-1 with a difficult schedule and is underachieving right now. If anyone is the sleeping giant being written off right now just because of recent performance, it's Florida.

I don't know man..

O.K they beat LSU and Tenn but the SEC takes turns beating each other so I am not going to give them a ton of credit for that...

Do you really think the QB tandem thing is working? Seems like they are having QB issues and a top 3 team shouldn't be having that..

Also Florida's kicker doesn't he suck? I know this is your team bro and I have tons of respect for your opinion but I am just not impressed with them. Thats why I have been betting against them every week and winning..

They easily could be 8-2 7-3.. I do respect their defense because that is what is winning games for them..

what are people giving Notre Dame credit for? beating our military football teams? Beating the "other" team from L.A., and barely at that. Barely beating Michigan State. So talk about a team that could easily be 7-3...but with worse losses
