ive been with them since about 75. i was 8 then and the WTBS was just getting started.. remember when Ted turner managed a game. Boy they had some lousy teams, they stopped pete's streak at 44 and i was pissed.. then the murphy era and the little wins in the early 80's (remember 13-0 to start the year).. My dad and i watched and talked about every game for the last 8 years, he was retired and i had purchased a convenience store (with big screen in back) and have been running it.. He passed away last november and boy watching these games sure makes me miss him.. Like the movie said, when we couldnt talk about anything else, we could talk about baseball and our Braves..

Murphy was my boy...a tremendous athelete. Too bad he didn't know when to hang up the spikes.

I agree that the Braves are asurprise but its still because of the rest of the division stinks again as usual.If they ge to the playoffs they still will be a decent underdog, No ace on that staff,No real impact players and a average manager.They had their chances in the past but no way this year
