The NBA is an entirely different deal than college. His dad may run his mouth like always but the Lakers will tell dad to shove off and will coach Lonzo up. The NBA is a grown man league.

He's a second round pick and that's risky - he and his stupid ass family's act aint gonna last long - in the first month they will be talking about how bad his teammates and coaches are - I guarantee this dude lives under a bridge by age 30 - guarantee it

Yeah, don't know about all that. Great vision and 41% three shooter. Instantly made UCLA a contender this year.

His catch and shoot is quick and straight up and down like a phone booth. And he has a base for his shot and a smooth release. Not like his brothers. 44 second mark. Look at that catch and shoot.

1 minute mark, that is a tough shot. Catching the ball to your left and getting that shot off. This kid is the truth. I don't know how Lavar Ball can try to let this kid go under the radar. He not fooling me. But it is working for most of the public and the sports Media.
I wonder if he can create his own shot? Can't basket hang in the NBA.

The time I saw him play this year in person, I was not impressed..looked like he shot the ball from his hip..ASU's D basically shut him down..That said it all for me..don't think he will have been worth the 2nd pick of draft

The shot doesn't look right but it's not necessarily slow and he shoots at an extremely high %. What else do you want?

Exactly. This is a professional team and the big talk is how one father is going to distract the team lol. It's a non issue at this level. And he knows it's time to step aside.

People forget he has two other kids lol. Lonzo isnt his concern anymore. Lonzo has made it. Now it's up to the Lakers to groom him....not his dad. Lavar about to get those other two Ball boys ready to Balllllllllll, boyyyyy!!!!!

Ball will be good to great.. love how the networks give his dad all the attention then get mad about his dad and his mouth. His dad will be a nonfactor and probably gets a kick out of being the villain. No way he even believes ninety percent of the shit he says.

If yes, then he will be an all star. He is the best catch and shooter out of the 3 by far. They all can pull up off the dribble. But he can actually be waiting in a corner and be a threat to catch and shoot. He can play off the ball and score. Doesn't need to be handling it like Lonzo and Lamelo. Lonzo is definitely the best all around player though for sure

Not last night:

 • Lonzo Ball did play through an ankle injury but he had a rough showing, going 2-10 from the field and 0-6 on 3-pointers.

Wow- Lonzo and BRON

The pair gave the storied franchise multiple triple-doubles in a game for only the second time, matching a feat achieved by greats Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in January 1982.
James had 24 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists, while Ball had 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 128-100 win in Charlotte on Saturday night.
It was the Lakers' (18-11) third win in their past four games and the heaviest defeat of the season for the Hornets (14-15).

one of the most overhyped dudes of all time.

I bet his father is just like Howard, though. Banging trannies on the down low, lol.

Danny Ainge stole Tatum with the third pick, and he even got another 1st round pick in return because the 6'ers wanted Fultz. The Lakers made it easy because they wanted Ball

So Ainge;

gets the player he wanted
gets to save up to 7 million dollars by NOT taking him first
gets the best player in the draft
gets another 1st round pick
gets to watch Phil and LA draft two busts

You just can't make this shit up

Throw in the trades with Brooklyn, and Ainge should be arrested for stealing from other teams

Why some might argue the "Boston fix" is in :)

PS: can't leave out Irving for a few journeymen (although I still love IT)

I still think Lonzo will be pretty good provided the off court stuff doesn't submarine him.

He has a skill-set that not many 21 year olds have. Was starting to play pretty well before his injury. Point guard toughest position to come into the league and contribute right away.
