8.0 is a biggie. Luckily it was no where near Anchorage. Been through dozens of earthquakes. Some decent shakers in the 5's... not going to lie it is scary as shit. My go to move is to run outside immediately even though they tell you not too. I've seen too many disaster areas and the last thing I would ever want to be is trapped in rubble without being able to move. Much rather have a tree fall on me and crush my skull than be immobile trapped under my home.

Lol, my story has been the same for the 6 years I've been here. The only thing that has changed is I work for a different company. Actually working on the Pt. Thomson project for Exxon construction setting up the pads, roads, and camps. A multi-billion dollar project. And I do project controls/scheduling through software I built, which is why I get to work at home most days. And to clarify, I'm not an employee of Exxon, I'm a contractor. One reason why I don't get a 401k anymore... and Acebb with his stupid W-2 is fake couldn't understand. If you want me to take a picture right now of the view from my office, I will gladly do so. I believe most of everything you say about your life... not sure why you think I'd be lying about this stuff. It's been fairly consistent the entire time I've been here.
And if I wanted to lie on the Internet about my life I definitely wouldn't be single, living in Alaska, working on the computer 8-10 hours a day. But the one thing I will tell you that you would love, is hockey is everywhere. There is 4 indoor ice rinks within 10 minutes drive from my house. At lunch I drive 5 minutes to the rink, get a good 45 min/hour sweat in then go back to work. During the winter I can walk through the alley down the street and skate all day at the school. It's ridiculous how much hockey they have here. Best part about living here other than the money.

How long has that fallen fence board been sitting there? Lots of weeds growing around it. I would toss it over in your neighbors yard....he won't see it with that forest in his back yard.

I didn't plant anything man. They were there when I got the place. I'm not much of a house man. I have a lawn service... "Just Lawns" that mows the lawn every week and comes every year to fertilize it. And I'm pretty sure it's a butterfly, not a moth, lol. But the previous owners asked if I cared about all the stuff in the backyard and I said not at all. Got some free bird houses, lol. But back in my partying days this was the spot. Sun out til 2 in the morning, people sleeping in all the rooms, grilling out back, got a fire pit. Wanted to get a jacuzzi but never ended up getting one. Found a fucking evil girl who I went out with for 3 years and destroyed all the fun out of my life, lol.
Oh yea, and I hooked my brother in law up with a job as a police officer on the north slope so he's gone half the year. I can't imagine any police officers getting paid what they get paid across the country, so they moved about 2 miles away from here with their 2 sons... 3, 7 years old. They have this little 7 lb mutt puppy that crawls under the fence and terrorizes everything. His name is rambo, so I told the lawn dudes to leave the bush on the fences. The front yard is immaculate though. That's why that board is chilling out there also.

Lmao!!! I took that in to consideration. It sucks I can't just be open here because of how sick some of these guys like Joe and Acebb are. Like I have never once googled a single person on this site to see if I can find information about them. I simply just do not care enough. And definitely got the KGB on call, lol!! Also, never forget about Schiff... he's been to prison before and definitely seems like a psycho. Not going to lie, these guys are sick enough to do something. Crazy. I have a Beretta loaded under my bed and an alarm system hooked up. They better be skilled assassins.
