Got one. Came in 4-9. The #4 won easily wire to wire. But the #9 nearly gave me a heart attack as she took forever to close into second.

What an idiot. This morning when I went to Equibase and marked my book up with the scratches and jockey changes, etc I mistakenly scratched the #1 horse when I should have scratched the #1A. I caught myself and corrected it but when I just handicapped the race the #1 was scratched out and so despite a marking that I made indicating that the horse was back in I thought the horse was scratched out. Crucial mistake as the #1 was indeed faster than the #4. Cost me a nice exacta as both the #s 1 and 4 were nice overlays. So many handicappers just don't know how to figure actual speed. Dumb shit I am.
