#9 wins last to first and I shoulda used the #2. Had several marks on him. Stupid. 60-1 second. Costly mistake.

Piss. Sometimes jockeys matter. Friggin Vazquez had this horse running sa they turned for home but instead of staying outside he swung him inside where he got all bottled up and had nowhere to go when the horse wanted to surge about the sixteenth pole. He was an easy winner if Vazquez keeps him outside. Put a ring around this horse for next time. This is a damned good horse. 12-1 was the time to have him. He'll never see 12-1 in the rest of his career. Think I'm pissed?! Damn.

Sometimes jockeys matter a lot. I liked this #4 horse he was 25-1. Bet down late from 35-1. He and the eventual winner, #5, were dead last by 20 lengths heading down the backstretch. They both began to move together as they hit the far turn except the #4 ran up a horses ass and had to be steadied. He then regrouped and began charging on the outside but as he turned for home the jockey lost the horse and he went way, way wide. When he straightened him out he came flying down the stretch and just missed second place by a head. A better ride and that horse is a 25-1 winner and we're looking at a big exacta. The apprentice jock's name is L Mbatha. Don't know if it's male or female. I just know it has a lot to learn and won't be getting my money again anytime soon.

Jockey should have gone to the outside at the top of the stretch
For sure, Joe. That was costly. That horse was a winner if Vazquez takes him out instead of in. He was trying to surge as the others in front of him were bottling up. But he had nowhere to go. And Vazquez ain't Irad. He has no balls.
