For some reason i feel like small wagers on:

1} Will longest completed pass be over 47.5 yards? NO +104.

2} 1st offensive play that results in a 1st down {no penalties}
will gain under 11.5 yards, +107.

COMBINED SACKS OVER 4.5, 1/2 unit
These two defenses combine to average 6.5 sacks/game and the offenses allow 4.2 sacks combined/game. The offenses and defenses combined for 193.5 sacks in their 36 combined games. That’s an average of 5.375 sacks/game for these two teams. And the individual game totals for both of these teams are over 4.5 (Philly at 4.8 and NE at 5.9).. Thus, I see value here in the OVER. Here are the data:

Defense:
68.5 sacks New England reg. season +1 Indy playoff + 1 Pitt playoff = 70.5 sacks/18 games = 3.9 sacks/game by <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on">New England</st1:place> defense

43 <st1:City w:st="on">Philadelphia</st1:City> sacks reg. season + 0 Minn. Playoff +4 <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Atlanta</st1:place></st1:City> playoff = 47 sacks/18 games = 2.6 sacks/game by Philly defense

Total: 117 sacks in 18 games = 6.5 combined sacks/game generated by defenses

Offense:
<st1:City w:st="on">Philadelphia</st1:City>: allowed 38 sacks +0 sacks <st1:State w:st="on">Minn</st1:State> + 2 sacks <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Atlanta</st1:place></st1:City> = 40 sacks/18 games=2.2 sacks/game

<st1:place w:st="on">New England</st1:place>: allowed 31 sacks + 3 sacks Indy + 2 sacks Pitt = 36 sacks/18 games=2.0 game

Total: 76 sacks in 18 games = 4.2 combined sacks/game allowed by offenses

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Each team’s games:
Philly games: 47 defense +40 offense =87 total sacks in 18 games = 4.8 sacks/game
<st1:place w:st="on">New England</st1:place> games: 70.5 defense +36 offense = 106.5 sacks in 18 games = 5.9 sacks/game

<o:p></o:p>

PATRIOTS SACKS OVER 2.5, 1/3 unit
Since I believe these teams will have at least 5 sacks, one team will have to have 3 sacks. I think that team is <st1:place w:st="on">New England</st1:place>. The Patriots defense averaged 3.9 sacks/game and the Philly offense allowed 2.2 sacks/game. That’s an average of 3.05 sacks/game….so the line gives us a little value here. I suspect the Pats will pressure McNabb and force him to make quick decisions for short games. If the Eagles fall behind forcing McNabb to throw more frequently, the NE defense will pin its ears back and go for sacks every play.

There are some interesting props on the comparison betweek Akers and Viniteri.
Could anyone give me some info on who is the better long kicker and who is more accurate. Thanks.
ESQAJM

Akers slight advantage for distance, otherwise equal.

I favor Viniteri since the Pats will give him more chances.

My personal favorite is:

How many Eagles will get rushing attempts? Over/Under 3.5.

I took over 3.5 -105 this morning.

I'm also fading some of the Patriot receiving corps in yardage (Patten, Pass and Graham), along with Brady pass yards. Small play on Dillon rush yards under as well.

McNabb MVP +344

If Philly wins, chances are McNabb will be the MVP and i think Philly can win.

Pats to score first -166

Pats have played 18 games this year and have scored first 17 times, if that isn't a trend then i don't know what is.
