Fair enough, the reason I like the single payer in Canada is that well it's obviously cheaper for me but also for small business owners, they don't have to spend large amounts of cash providing health insurance. It saves them money to reinvest in their business or offer extended medical such as glasses and dental care to their employees.

What's most interesting to my wife and I - now in our late 40s - is how Canadians are not under threat of getting smashed (to bankruptcy or worse) by any medical care costs.

As we continue to expand our ability to create steady revenue that is not dependent on being employed within U.S. borders, we've put on our Possibility Plate the notion of changing our citizenship at some point in next decade depending on what health care reforms are enacted here in the USA.
