The book that is used for the line movements is "Pinnacle". It is Pinnacle that determines whether or not there is a play. Matchbook or any other book is indifferent......The system is based on the opening and closing lines at "Pinnacle."....I hope that clears it up...At pinnacle Pacfic opened at -1.5 and has moved to +1 which is a 2.5 point move... The spread % is at 82% and we would like to see it at 79% preferably for Pacific +1 to be a Play.

I do have another question though, you say the spread% was at 82% and it would be best to see it at 79%. Why is that? Or a better question would be, what does the spread% represent? Thanks everyone.

The "Spread" % is the Market of all the books available at sportsinsights. It is the average % of money wagered on any given team. In this case 82% of the wagered money is on Pacific. LetsgoHoosiers has tracked the games back to the beginning of the year and found it is less successful when any team has 80% or more wagered on them. We are looking for 60-79%....That is the most successful percentage. Less than 60 and more than 80 have not shown profitable results.
