The ROI theme to my season sorta has a back story to it. If you want to hear it
Back in the middle of April I wanted to enter a big Baseball contest at Griffin's shop.
It was going to be my first ever entry into a Baseball contest. Basically in the 11th hour
he tells me I can not enter his Baseball contest at his shop. Nor does he want any part
of me at his shop for Baseball season or any other season. I ask if I can send in the money
(Deposit) and just play in the contest anyways and make no wagers at his shop ( Because I wanted to
sorta challenge myself and see how I could do against the other 40 or so guys entered). AND
his answer was still no. It was cool. It was just him showing respect and being straight up and
honest about not wanting to book my action. The convo ended super cool with each of wishing
the other well for the upcoming season and good health. Very cool guy who I enjoyed talking to.
Now I had planned to play all my contest picks with real $$$$ at 5dimes or Heritage. The format was that you had to make like
200 plays in like 7 weeks. So it was going to be like 3 to 4 plays a day on average every day for the first leg.
So basically once I got told no for his contest. I started kicking around the idea of focusing on increasing my ROI.
Since I wasn't going to be playing the 3 to 5 contest picks daily for one unit/1* that I thought I was going to be doing
for both legs of his conest. So I decided to make all my wagers 2* ( two units ) and play the type and style of plays that
you have seen me playing this season.
If I had been allowed into the contest maybe I would have been more conservative with my plays this season. Instead of
being more liberal with the higher ROI stuff. My Units and ROI right now are strong just like my pimp hand. So all is good
