BETALL, Why Atlanta?

My thinking on the Falcons Pick is even though the Seachickens have the #1 Defense ... Who did they Play to get that ranking ?
Not Much .....

I also like the fact that they stayed out west. and as Everyone knows, Atlanta Head Coach Dan Quinn was the Seahawks assistant head coach/defensive coordinator

The Cowboys may have to wait until after their bye week to see Dez Bryant (knee) on the field again.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday morning Dallas' star receiver is a "long shot to play" against the Green Bay Packers, with a return more than likely coming after the Cowboys' bye in Week 8 against the Eagles.

Bryant told NFL Network's Jane Slater that he feels good enough to play, but won't know if he'll be active until closer to game time.

Here are other injury notes we're tracking before Sunday's slate of games kick off:

1. While the Packers ruled running back James Starks (knee) out, Rapoport reported Eddie Lacy (ankle) is expected to play against the Cowboys. Though with the Packers so thin at the RB position, Rapoport reported Randall Cobb is expected to be Lacy's backup.

2. Browns tight end Gary Barnidge (forearm, hip) is listed as active against the Titans, but cornerback Joe Haden (groin) is inactive.

3. The Panthers look to have their full complement of weapons for their tilt against the Saints. Quarterback Cam Newton, running back Jonathan Stewart (hamstring) and receiver Kelvin Benjamin (knee) are all active.

4. The Ravens will have receiver Mike Wallace (chest) for their game against the Giants, as he's active. He's expected to have a bigger role in the offense with Steve Smith (ankle) being ruled inactive.

5. Dolphins running back Arian Foster, along with safety Reshad Jones, are both active against the Steelers.

6. The Rams will not have defensive end Robert Quinn (shoulder) on Sunday against the Lions, as he was listed as inactive. Meanwhile, defensive linemen William Hayes (ankle) and Michael Brockers (hip) are active.

7. Patriots offensive stars Rob Gronkowski (hamstring, illness), tight end Martellus Bennett (ankle), running back LeGarrette Blount (hip) and receiver Julian Edelman (foot) are all active against the Bengals.

8. Giants running back Rashad Jennings (thumb) is listed as active after missing the last three games.

9. Steelers wideout Sammie Coates will play vs. the Dolphins after suffering a broken finger last week against the Jets, Rapoport reported per a source informed of the injury.

10. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported Redskins corner Bashaud Breeland (ankle) will play against the Eagles, but won't be a full-go on Sunday.
