So one game that I already wagered on was the AZ Cardinals -7
I see some love for the Rams in a few places, which is fine. As some believe the St. Louis Rams will bounce back from their 2 loses and stop the Cardinals Great Offense.
And you need to remember, the Rams were the ones to knock out Palmer last season.
But AZ has won the last 3 SU & ATS, including last seasons 2nd game with Shaun Hill under center.
You could make an excuse for the Rams loss @ Washington. They were coming off of a Huge Win at Home vs. The Seahawks
Because most teams ( Win or Lose after facing Seattle ) are usually a Fade. * Note I had used Washington in the LVH that week.
Here's the Problem... The Rams after knocking out Big Ben and having a chance to take advantage to win the game..... FAILED
And they will Fail against the High Powered AZ Cardinals. who have put up 31,48 and 47 points up while only giving up a total of 49 points in those 3 games
AZ - 7 for me...
Well that does it. That stuff in Red. I'm officially off this game totally. I was hoping to uncover somewhere a hint that Jeff Fischer had The Cards Number but apparently not. My Big Challenge here is "Who have The Cards PLAYED???!!??" The Bears, The Saints and an apparently far less talented and cohesive '9ers squad than the one we saw open the year vs. Minnesota. I don't wanna give up 8 on the road with even the Packers off MNF it just feels wrong...STL (Divisional Game) was my last hope of having even a shred of Dignity on this the ugliest card I've ever seen let aloneplayed. HOU JAX CLE DEN SEA (laying double digits). Thanks. Your Fault. that last tug of the rug of my "Sharp Pick" on STL from underneath me.
OK Denver on there should makes it less ugly, SEA is just the Staffade....FADE Stafford on the road vs. +.500 Team....SEA will be a +.500 team eventually...trying to Pre-Date a Check lol.
Its still double digits though...unpretty.
First part of that Card is ugly enough to make the ugliest Card yet...eclipsed only by the uglyness of the outcome. I just think HOU will match up well vs. ATL, they're off their first Win (and Cover)....yeah vs. Jags. Hoping HOU D will rise and play to their capabilities here. SD is hobbled...I think they're down to their 3rd String TE and missing key others.
This is that Game I usually would have Lost and been utterly shocked by the outcome...calling it an "Upset" so if CLE can't come through here I'm just gonna be hopelessly confused.
JAX...Fade of an up to now incoherent Indy Squad....I'm assuming Luck is out here I suppose....it wasn't that long ago when JAX played Indy very competitively on a somewhat regular basis....at least when I bet on them....Manning was under center so maybe it was a while ago....feels recent though.
Time is passing like a vapor. GL
to answer your question with a Question... Who are the Rams ?
I put them in the very same category as the first 3 teams they have beat.
I truly think that Bruce Arians was what made the Colts great(2 years Ago), now (provided he has an above replacement level QB) he is making the Cards great, the Rams are not good at all, they loaded up on a sleep walking super bowl loser, that was their super bowl, then they got handled by a BAD BAD team, no one who loses to that Washington team is going to get any where near close to beating this Cardinals team.
They Westgate look ahead line did open at Pitt -3 1/2. The entire card is below.
