Sammy Watkins is one step closer to returning to the field.

The Buffalo Bills receiver, who went on injured reserve earlier this season after struggling to recover from offseason foot surgery, practiced both Wednesday and Thursday, prompting coach Rex Ryan to say he "feels pretty good" about Watkins' chances to play against the Jaguars on Sunday.

Ryan, though, cautioned if his star receiver did get snaps, his playing time would be limited.

Here are some other injuries we've been tracking on Thanksgiving Day:

1. DeAndre Levy has made significant progress in his return from a nagging knee injury that has kept him out since Week 1, but his official comeback remains on hold. The Detroit Lions linebacker did not play in Thursday's Thanksgiving matinee against the Minnesota Vikings. Levy was officially listed as questionable for the game Wednesday.

Running back Ameer Abdullah received positive news from foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson on Tuesday, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. Anderson found the foot structurally sound with no reason to believe aggravation of the injury might occur. Anderson told Abdullah the foot was better than expected. The only cause for concern is Abdullah might injure another body part while trying to protect his foot -- a common thought with injuries, Rapoport added.

2. There's a chance Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams (knee) could practice next week, Rapoport reported, and there's also a chance he could play Week 13 against the Giants on Dec. 4.

3. Vikings receiver Stefon Diggs (knee) didn't play against the Lions after being listed as questionable Wednesday. Cornerback Terence Newman (neck) also didn't play.

Center Joe Berger is being evaluated for a concussion, the team announced. He's out for the rest of the game.

4. The Eagles announced defensive end Connor Barwin (knee), running back Ryan Mathews (knee), defensive end Steven Means (illness) and offensive lineman Halapoulivaati Vaitai (knee) did not practice.

5. While Buccaneers cornerback Brent Grimes (hamstring) returned to the practice field, coach Dirk Koetter told reporters he was a limited participant.

6. Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly (head) continued to sit out practice. Coach Ron Rivera said the linebacker is still in concussion protocol. Defensive end Mario Addison (foot) and center Ryan Kalil (shoulder) also did not participate in practice. Cornerback Leonard Johnson (chest) was limited.

7. Dolphins offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil (shoulder) practiced for the second straight day, the Miami Herald reported. Offensive linemen Brandon Albert (wrist) and Mike Pouncey (hip) did not practice.

8. Giants offensive lineman Justin Pugh (knee) did not practice. Running back Orleans Darkwa (lower leg) was limited.

9. Browns quarterback Cody Kessler (concussion) did not practice for the second straight day. Cornerback Joe Haden (groin) was limited.

10. Chiefs pass rusher Dee Ford (hamstring) and receiver Jeremy Maclin (groin) did not practice. Cornerback Marcus Peters (hip) was limited, while Derrick Johnson (Achilles) was a full participant.

11. Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith (back) sat out of practice again.

12. Bengals corner Josh Shaw (hip) did not practice. Cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick (knee) was a limited participant.

13. Bears quarterback Jay Cutler (shoulder) did not practice Thursday. Coach John Fox called the quarterback day-to-day Wednesday.
Receiver Eddie Royal (toe), guard Josh Sitton (ankle) and outside linebacker Leonard Floyd (concussion) also did not practice. Rookie cornerback Deiondre' Hall (ankle) returned.

I'm not a huge fan of the Vikings lately as I have said that they were playing so bad lately that they couldn't beat a High School Team ( of course that was a Joke )
But even though I still think they are Not the same team as their First 5 games, and on paper the Lions Lack a running game, I can't back the Vikings either.

The better play to me ..... OVER 41.5 -15 ( BETONLINE ) 1 unit

Gun to Head, I Lean Lions

well was wrong on the total, and right on my Lean...

down 1 unit for the day

[h=1]Sammy Watkins questionable to play Sunday for Bills[/h]
Sammy Watkins could return to the playing field for the first time since Week 2.

Watkins is listed as questionable after coming off injured reserve because of a foot injury.

Rex Ryan was bullish on Watkins' availability, saying he thinks the receiver is "good to go" and added "we're definitely going to get him in there," via ESPN's Mike Rodak.

Watkins' return would be a big boost for a Bills passing game that has plateaued sans its one playmaker. Tyrod Taylor is averaging 193.5 passing YPG (30th out of 33 qualified QBs).

In two games played this season, Watkins compiled six receptions for 63 yards and zero touchdowns. He'll have a stiff test in his return Sunday against Jalen Ramsey and the Jacksonville Jaguars' fifth-ranked defense.

The Bills also listed LeSean McCoy as questionable after undergoing thumb surgery this week. Shady has been expected to play all week -- Rex was equally optimistic about his start running back as he was Watkins. Mike Gillislee (hamstring) was ruled out, which means McCoy will see the bulk of the snaps with Jonathan Williams will getting a few backup reps alongside Reggie Bush.

Percy Harvin (illness), who missed Thursday and Friday's practice sessions, is questionable.

The Carolina Panthers ruled out linebacker Luke Kuechly for Sunday's game against the Raiders because he's still in concussion protocol. The star tackler was carted off the field following a hit late in the fourth quarter in the Panthers' 23-20 win over the Saints on Nov. 17.

This is Kuechly's second concussion in the past two seasons. The Panthers will especially miss the NFL's best sideline-to-sideline tackler against a Raiders offense that has lit up the NFL this year.

The Panthers have also ruled out center Ryan Kalil (shoulder) and defensive end Mario Addison (foot). The team also placed offensive lineman Michael Oher (concussion) and cornerback Zack Sanchez (groin) on injured reserve.

Here are the other injuries we are tracking Friday:

1. Redskins coach Jay Gruden, in an radio interview with WTEM-AM in Washington, said an MRI revealed that tight end Jordan Reed suffered a Grade 3 AC joint separation in his left shoulder against the Cowboys.

2. Patriots coach Bill Belichick confirmed that offensive linemen Tre' Jackson (knee) and Sebastian Vollmer (hip), won't play this season. Both started the year on the physically unable to perform list. Star quarterback Tom Brady (knee) is questionable for Sunday's tilt against the Jets. Tight ends Martellus Bennett (ankle/shoulder) and Rob Gronkowski (chest) were both limited in Friday's practice and have been ruled questionable.

3. The Jaguars announced defensive linemen Jared Odrick (shoulder) and Chris Smith (eye), linebacker Dan Skuta (back) and tight end Julius Thomas (back) will not play Sunday against the Bills.

4. After being absent on Wednesday and Thursday, Tom Brady (knee) returned to Patriots practice on Friday. He responded "we'll see" when asked if he will play Sunday against the Jets.

5. The Browns have ruled out quarterback Cody Kessler (concussion) against the Giants, while corner Tramon Williams (knee) and safety Ed Reynolds (knee) are questionable.

6. Jets coach Todd Bowles said center Nick Mangold (ankle) and defensive lineman Steve McLendon (hamstring) won't play against the Patriots. Mangold, however, did practice for the first time in nearly five weeks Friday.

7. Titans announced tight end Phillip Supernaw (concussion) will not play against the Bears.

8. Sammy Watkins (foot), LeSean McCoy (thumb) and Percy Harvin (illness) are listed as questionable to play against the Jaguars. Bills running back Mike Gillislee (hamstring) is out.

9. Falcons coach Dan Quinn said corner Desmond Trufant and punter Matt Bosher are both "game-day decisions" against the Cardinals.

10. Dolphins coach Adam Gase said offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil (shoulder) will be a game-time decision. Center Mike Pouncey will not play Sunday due to a hip injury. Cornerback Xavien Howard (knee) and tackle Branden Albert (wrist) are both listed as doubtful. Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry (shoulder)has been ruled questionable for Sunday's tilt.

11. The banged-up Ravens will be without running back Lorenzo Taliaferro (thigh) and offensive tackle Alex Lewis (ankle). Cornerback Jimmy Smith (back) and tight end Crockett Gillmore (thigh) are both doubtful.

12. Giants left guard Justin Pugh (knee) was ruled out for Sunday against the Browns and defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (knee) is questionable after being limited in practice Friday. Pierre-Paul told NFL Network's Kimberly Jones he will play against the Browns. Offensive linemen Marshall Newhouse (knee) and Brett Jones (calf) also were ruled out.

13. The Bears have listed quarterback Jay Cutler (shoulder) and offensive lineman Josh Sitton (ankle) as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Titans, while rookie pass rusher Leonard Floyd (concussion) is out.

14. Chiefs linebacker Dee Ford will not play due to a hamstring injury. Receiver Jeremy Maclin (groin) will also not play. Cornerback Marcus Peters was a full participant in practice Friday; he is questionable for Week 12.

15. Eagles running back Ryan Mathews (knee) did not practice on Friday.

16. Packers linebacker Jake Ryan (ankle) and cornerback Demarious Randall (groin) were both limited in Friday's practice.

17. Seahawks safety Earl Thomas is officially out for Sunday's game due to a hamstring injury.

18. Rams coach Jeff Fisher said running back Todd Gurley did not practice Friday due to an illness that has plagued the roster. Fisher expects Gurley to be healthy for Sunday, though.

19. Niners defensive tackle Quinton Dial (knee, neck), linebacker Aaron Lynch (ankle), wide receiver Torrey Smith (shoulder) and cornerback Jimmie Ward (concussion) are all questionable.

20. Saints tackle Terron Armstead (knee/quad), running back Travaris Cadet (toe) and running back Mark Ingram (concussion) were all limited in Friday's practices and are questionable against the Rams.

[h=1]Tom Brady on if he'll play against Jets: 'We'll see'[/h]
The rush at your local strip mall is enough stress on this Black Friday. Don't add to it by wringing your hands over the status of Tom Brady.

The Patriots quarterback, who is officially questionable for Sunday vs. the Jets with a knee injury, was back at practice Friday just a few hours after coach Bill Belichick snarkily addressed his quarterback's condition in speaking with reporters.

"We'll list Tom [Brady] on the injury report like we always do, like everybody else," Belichick said Friday. "Is that the answer you were hoping for? ... OK, good. I don't want to disappoint you."

Though that didn't shed much light on Brady's knee health, it's encouraging for Patriots fans to see Brady back on the field, even if he did give a "we'll see" answer to the question of whether he'll play Sunday.

Perhaps during his down time he was busy devising a Thanksgiving menu free of strawberries, among other foods banned according to his fountain of youth diet. We won't know for sure until injury reports are released, but then again, this is the same franchise that consistently listed Brady on the injury report with a phantom shoulder issue week after week, year after year. With Belichick, nothing should surprise us.

Tight ends Rob Gronkowski (lung) and Martellus Bennett (ankle/shoulder) are both questionable as are receivers Julian Edelman (foot) and Chris Hogan (back), per the official injury report. Wide receiver Matthew Slater (foot) is ruled out.

**********************************************************************************************************************************

As you can see from the Post before this one, in line #2 it says Brady questionable.

I usually will comment on something like this, but thought maybe it was a joke of some kind.
There were no earlier reports on Brady's "Knee" and Now the Above.

Normally I would be all over this, and the spread has dropped since it's opener ( 8.5's and 9's ) Now 7.5
But my feelings are that the NYJ couldn't beat The Pats backup QB's

Yeah I know their Home, and the Jets do play the pats hard in at least one of the two contests during the Season .. I just think the Jets are a mess.

So I won't use them in the Westgate, but If the Brady injury is True, I might use them in one of my 6pt teasers

The Patriots will be pretty close to full strength on offense.

Tight end Rob Gronkowski is expected to play Sunday against the Jets, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per sources. Gronk missed last week's win over the 49ers with a perforated lung, but will be back in the lineup as expected.

Tom Brady, who was on the injury report as questionable with a knee injury, will also play. Wideouts Julian Edelman (foot), Chris Hogan (back) and tight end Martellus Bennett (ankle, shoulder) will also play, according to Rapoport.

Here are some other injury updates heading into Sunday's game:

1. Bills wideout Sammy Watkins is officially active and, according to Rapoport, he will start against the Jaguars. His playing time will depend on how his foot feels. Watkins has been out since Week 2.
Running back LeSean McCoy, who is also active, will get more carries than usual despite coming off a dislocated thumb because fellow running back Mike Gillislee is out, Rapoport reported.

2. Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu is active for Sunday's tilt against the Cardinals. He missed the last few weeks with a shoulder injury.

3. Raiders receiver Michael Crabtree is trending towards playing against the Panthers, Rapoport reported. He was limited all week with an ankle injury and will test it in pregame. Running back Latavius Murray (ankle) is going to play, Rapoport reported.

4. Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon (ankle) is active against the Bills. He didn't practice all week.

5. Chargers receiver Travis Benjamin will play against the Texans. He was listed as questionable as he dealt with a PCL sprain.

6. The 49ers will have veteran wideout Torrey Smith back in the lineup after he missed last week with a shoulder injury.

7. Dolphins left tackle Laremy Tunsil is inactive because of a torn muscle in his shoulder, Rapoport reported, per a source. Fellow offensive linemen Mike Pouncey (hip) and Branden Albert (wrist) also won't play against the 49ers. Defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and defensive end Mario Williams will play.

8. Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (knee) is active despite being listed as questionable after being limited in practice Friday. JPP told NFL Network's Kimberly Jones on Friday he would play against the Browns. Wideout Roger Lewis (concussion) is active, as well.
In addition, the Giants are eyeing a December 11 return for running back Shane Vereen (triceps), who's on injured reserve, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported Sunday.

9. Saints running back Mark Ingram (concussion) is active against the Rams.

10. Bears quarterback Jay Cutler (shoulder) will not play against the Titans, the team announced. He was listed Friday as doubtful for the game. Matt Barkley will start at quarterback.

11. Falcons cornerback Desmond Trufant (torn pectoral) will not play against the Cardinals. The team announced Trufant has another doctor's appointment scheduled and potentially could have season-ending surgery this week.
