Smart. Fins are different team without those offensive line starters. They will struggle to score. La should struggle as well having their rookie QB in there. This game should go under
.

:toast:
Think I'm in same boat, really wanna be against fisher and Goff but then I think back to what fish looked like before the line got healthy. That really when the season started going in right direction when all 5 guys got on the field together.

I kinda hate Fisher. I wanted to bet against his tool ass so bad as well. After watching Hard Knocks I'm not sure Goff know how to tie his shoes, so I doubt he can read a NFL defense . This was my play of the week til Pouncey got hurt. LAR defense has played well this season . Mia has a solid Defensive Line and LB's and average secondary . IMO this should be a boring game where both defenses dominate. Same as Rams at Jets game last week. Jets had solid defense line play and a shakey secondary . the Rams didn't get any TD's and looked terrible on offense. It's a new week but we can expect the same results.

Pouncey out means the Fins Offense might struggle.
Under or nothing for me

I will say that Ajayi runs like beast mode 2.0. This kid is the real deal. He was great at Boise St too.

best of luck guys.

I agree, under makes a lot of sense. My only concern would be phins pass rush is better than jets and playing Goff I could see Mia defense scoring and/or setting up a score or 2. Knowing fisher the lambs game plan will be ultra conservative so that will help but I still think there strong possibility la digs themselves a big hole early w turnovers then let the rookie air it out to attempt a comeback. As you mentioned phins secondary their weak link so if lambs do end up in shotgun chucking it I could see that resulting in points for both teams..

just thinking about ajayi makes me bummed out, I loved him at Boise, cut him in both leagues I drafted him after the poor start w foster winning the job and needed the roster spot due to injuries. If I don't win any leagues this season it will be because that move! Ugh. Hopefully I can still pull out a league so this doesn't scar me for life! Lol. On more relevant note he does run very hard and while lambs d is generally strong against the rush the last few years I recall several games a premier back has just gashed them, the oline injuries scare me but I still think we could be in store for another ajayi monster game..

Cowboys star wideout Dez Bryant appeared on the team's injury report on Friday with a back injury but is expected to play today, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.
Bryant had 11 receptions for 248 yards and two touchdowns in the three games since his return from a knee injury.

It will be a matchup of division leaders when the first-place Cowboys (8-1) take on the first-place Ravens (5-4) in Dallas.

Other injuries we are keeping an eye on Sunday:

1. Cardinals defensive back Tyrann Mathieu (shoulder) will not play against the Vikings, coach Bruce Arians told ESPN.

2. Packers tight end Jared Cook (ankle) is expected to make his return to the field tonight at the Redskins for the first time since Week 3, according to Rapoport.

3. Chiefs sack-master Justin Houston (ACL) will be playing for the first time all season today, per his agent. The team should ease him in against the Buccaneers at home, according to Rapoport. Teammate Marcus Peters, who didn't practice, is battling a painful hip pointer and will try to play, but will be limited if he does.

4. Rams defensive end Robert Quinn, hospitalized for dehydration earlier this week, has said he's hopeful at being out on the field against the Dolphins. He and running back Todd Gurley (thigh) are expected to play, according to Rapoport.

5. Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson (shoulder) is expected to play against the Packers, a source tells Rapoport. His recovery has impressed the team.

6. Eagles wide receiver Jordan Matthews (back spasms) is in the game plans today and expected to play at the Seahawks, per Rapoport.

7. Dolphins center Mike Pouncey will not play against the Rams, but his hip injury is not believed to be long term, according to Rapoport.

8. Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus (groin) and wide receiver Robert Woods (foot) are expected to play against the Bengals, according to Rapoport.

9. Bears wide receiver Eddie Royal (toe) is expected to play, according to Rapoport.

10. Browns cornerback Tramon Williams (knee) will be a game-time decision, according to Rapoport.

11. Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence (back) is expected to play against the Ravens, per Rapoport. Quarterback Tony Romo will also be active and will be the backup.

12. Lions defensive end Ezekiel Ansah (ankle) will be active and teammate Theo Riddick is good to go, per Rapoport. Rapoport also reported that running back Ameer Abdullah (IR, foot) will see Dr. Robert Anderson on Tuesday to see if he can start practicing again.

13. Dolphins wide receivers Jarvis Landry (shoulder) and Kenny Stills (calf) are both expected to play, according to Rapoport. Teammate Mario Williams (ankle) however, is a game-time decision.

14. Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett (ankle) and wide receiver Julian Edelman (foot) are expected to play against the 49ers, according to Rapoport.

15. Niners wide receiver Torrey Smith (shoulder) is a long shot to play, per Rapoport.

[h=1]Rams' Jared Goff ready to face 'huge challenge'[/h]
For 10 weeks, Jared Goff has been waiting. First as the third-stringer, then as the backup, but never as the starter. Meanwhile, the crowd chanted for the No. 1 overall pick and the team's offense plummeted.

And so finally, in Week 11, the world will see Goff as the Rams' starter. But according to those who see him improve every day, "waiting" is not the proper term.

"Yeah, some people say he's been waiting," Rams quarterbacks coach Chris Weinke told NFL.com this week. "No. He's been actively pursuing the opportunity to start in this league. It doesn't just happen because you show up. The kid has dedicated himself. ... This was a process that began when he was drafted to put himself in the best position to be comfortable in this offense and operate it at a high level. And he's put himself in position to start on Sunday."

When the Dolphins defense trots onto the field today, fresh off forcing Philip Rivers into four interceptions, it'll be Goff staring them down. The assumption is, the playbook will be smaller to help the rookie get acclimated.

Just the opposite.

"We're not scaling back our offense, based on what he can operate and understand," Weinke said. "What we actually can do is add some things that take advantage of his special arm talent. He can make a lot of throws other guys can't. It creates some opportunities for us to maybe add some things that we haven't done."
At long last, the new and old Rams fans will see their franchise quarterback (they hope).

Fisher, who had shrugged off calls from his fan base to start Goff over incumbent Case Keenum sooner, simply said, "It's time to move on. ... It takes time, we gave it time."

As for Goff, who clearly felt he was ready, he told reporters, "Anxiety is over, I'm good now."

Reality is, it's just beginning. Goff must improve on an offense ranked last in scoring. What he also must do is expand the field to help a stagnant run game, especially with star back Todd Gurley (3.1 yards per rush) having not ignited yet.

Weinke believes Goff starting will make Gurley better.

"They work hand in hand, where the pass sets up the run and vice versa," Weinke said. "We'd love to get them both going. We love to pound the football, it's what we believe in, and we can also utilize Jared's arm talents to drive it down the field."

Goff came from a spread system at Cal that didn't huddle. His learning curve was steep. Fisher knew he needed to sit, with the hope being that Keenum could run the show for a year or longer while Goff learned. Instead, it's a little quicker than imagined, with Goff being ready quicker than imagined.

He's learned the cadences, learned the protections, learned how to call a play in a huddle like a pro. Weinke said Keenum has been incredibly helpful to learn from, and Goff has soaked it up.

There wasn't one epiphany to show he was ready, but he's been watched closely since he arrived.

"In a lot of ways, it would've been a disservice to start him early," Weinke said. "The approach Coach Fisher took was the right approach. When you process a new language, it automatically slows down on your own. We wanted to get it where he wasn't slowing down physically. He's there. The guy has total command of the huddle now."

It just won't be easy, especially against a Dolphins defense that is coming into its own.

"No doubt, a huge challenge," Weinke said. "There are no breathers against this defense. But the question is, what's going to change for them knowing this guy is starting and what adjustments do they make? We'll have our hands full."
