Miami definitely rebuilding well. I like what they’re doing.

Where does Josh Rosen end up next to tank? Is the question. Whatever Gm that wants to tank this year needs to acquire his services. :):)

Oh man, Joan Rosen. The guy I said was a major NFL bust on draft day.

Enflameo and Black eye on Lamar.....”biggest mistake and draft bust ever.”

Lmfao. Big big big differences in us.

Miami started their rebuilding last year just before the season kicked off with the trade of Tunsil and Stills. They got rid of troublemakers and got a first round pick this year and a first and second next year, plus a CB and O lineman. Got another first this year when they traded Minkah Fitz to the Steelers a week after the season began. Flores made a statement when he made those trades. And he took a team that all the pundits expected to go ofer 2019 and won five games, four of their last eight, finishing with a statement when they went into New England and beat the Pats outright.

They had 14 picks this year, 3 firsts, and two seconds. And another 10 picks next year, including 2 firsts, and 2 seconds. Put all that young talent under the coaching of a guy who very quickly instilled a winning attitude into a bunch of NFL rejects last year and you have a recipe for a fast rising team.

Of course I'm a Pats fan but watch out for these Fins. I love what Flores has done in one short year. Things will only get better with this massive infusion of young talent this year and next.

I don't follow College Foots like you guys do. I follow the NFL. But if Tua is the real deal, these Fins will go a long way in the next couple of years.

I see we're going back to Lamar. Pretty sure I can dig up again my comments. Believe they were

QBs like Lamar can't win you a SB ! What's happened ? He's failed miserably in the postseason .. Grade for my comments ..has to be A+

I never said he would be a draft bust. Lamar is talented.. Just the dumbest draft move ever or to some affect..Why ? If you're trying to win SBs this won't work. Pretty much the same reasoning as my first comment.
Grade A

Lamar does have a quirky throwing motion. Under pressure in a postseason setting , believed it would get exposed.. It did and always will. Grade A

Don't ever remembering saying anything about his arm strength. Grade N/A

Don't ever remember making any comments about reading defenses.. Grade N/A

Might have made comments on how smart he was . but not sure or in what context...jury out either way..Grade incomplete..

Yeah. I think they still need a couple years but I’m with that. Bills are the team to beat for the next couple years.

Brian Flores is the real deal. The guy cares about the detail. He knows what he wants to see. I’m on board for them.

Any organization that acquires Josh Rosen is trying to tank. 1000% percent. Doesn’t mean the players or coaches want to tank. But management, definitely.

That division is going to be a toss up every year in a couple years....after being dominated by one team for two decades

This is a revelation. That’s all we ever wanted you to say. It wasn’t really that difficult was it? Even though with as much as you denied it, I sort of expect a better admission. But I will take that no question about it. Good job, Enflameo. Good job. Hopefully this is a breakthrough for you here and everywhere. It feels good doesn’t it? Next thing you need to do is lose the Travis Clay gimmick. Then maybe you can be tolerable here. I don’t want to jump the gun though.

I said it months ago but he will never win the Ravens a Super Bowl.

You do realize you guys went from draft bust, not smart enough, not accurate, can’t throw, can’t read defenses.....

To.......

He won’t win a Super Bowl.

If I told you predraft Lamar would win a Super Bowl. You would of both laughed at that. But now....it’s your new claim and prediction that goes on for a duration of a career....knowing damn well you have been wrong about everything else so far. MVP in his first full season as a starter.

Mob, will you admit Lamar isn’t very intelligent? And if you think he’s a scholar, why do you believe that?

What’s the one super smart QB that threw 5 pics in one half of NFL play? Nathan Peterman? Yeah...it doesn’t fucking matter. They aren’t finding the cure for corona out there.

That doesn't answer the question. Will you admit Lamar Jackson isn't that bright?

Since we were talking about the dolphins on here.....

At the end of the 18 season, the fins fired Adam Gase and hired Brian Flores from the Pats. The fins gave Flores a GUARANTEED 5 year contract so it was known it was time to break it on down to build it back up.

Last year in free agency, the fins got rid of a lot of BAD contracts and were willing to EAT the money to go against the 2019 cap. The fins did NOT sign any big time free agents and waited until after a certain date to sign other free agents as they wanted extra draft picks for compensation of players lost (Juwan James and others)

Josh Rosen was mentioned earlier. However this was low risk high reward. In the 2nd round last year, the fins traded their pick to the saints for the Saints 2nd rd pick and a 2020 pick. The fins used that Saints 2nd 2019 pick to acquire Rosen. Rosen has a low base salary (cards paid his signing bonus) and fins wanted to see if Rosen would be qb of the future without risking alot (i never thought he would be a good pro and did NOT want the fins to draft him the prior year). I am expecting Rosen to be the #2 qb this season behind Fits. Lets give Tua a redshirt year b/c why risk injury?

Fast forward to the end of preseason in 2019. Fins were able to get a 2020 1st rd pick and a 2021 1st and 2nd pick from the Texans for Tunsil and Kenny Stills. Fins also recevied Vince Biegel in return who turned out to be a pretty decent linebacker. During final cut weekend, the fins picked up a lot of players who were cut from other teams.

Week 1 in 2019. The fins had something like 10 players on their 53 man roster who werent even on the team a week ago. Baltimore (a very good team) beat the crap out of them. I remember i chose to skip the game and decided to work that game. I brought my ipad in to watch the game. AFter it was 28-0 in the 1st or 2nd quarter, i decided to watch red zone on my phone.

Week 2. The pats and Antonio Brown came in town. The pats beat the crap out of them. Pats were supposed to have a STRONG defense (they did that week) and Brown was awesome. I was at the game and saw a clinic.

Week 3 vs Dallas- That was the week when i realized i didnt have a leg to stand on with my wife to say "i'm staying home to watch the fins game" as we knew this season was over.

Fins went 5-4 in the last 9 weeks and showed signs of life.

The dolphins had a lot free agent money and draft picks heading into the 2020 off season.

Fins spent a lot of $$ this offseason by bringing in Van Noy from the pats, Byron Jones from the Cowboys, and Shaq from the Bills.

Fins spent a lot of draft picks this season by getting Tua and a crap load of O-lineman to protect him.

Fins will be ok in 2020. Maybe a 7-9 team? Their REAL focus is on 2021 and they want to be good for YEARS.

Its been a LONG time since the fins started a season thinking they have a real chance that they have a winner. Maybe not since 2006 when Sports Illustrated either picked them to win or go to the superbowl with coach Nick Saban and new QB Daunte Culpepper.

Hopefully the future is bright for the dolphins. Hopefully they play more 415 and prime time games and i can BOTH go out on sundays AND watch the fins game!!
