As long as they don't lose their QB like CC did in the 2nd quarter the line movements doesn't matter to me.
Exactly. Especially in Bowl games. It's almost as if they try and use it as a "scare tactic" during the bowl season Joe Public blindly "follow" the money, or where they "think" the money is going. So, I'm with you. I don't worry about line movements during bowl season nearly as much as I do during the regular season.

I disagree. According to Action Network coming into this bowl season…

Following the steam has performed well.

Betting teams where the line moves 3+ points in their direction (ex. -3 to -6) is 30-14-1 ATS since 2017 and 19-5-1 ATS since 2020, all against the closing line.

And I think following the line move in this year’s bowl games would have yielded a profit up to today.

Yeah, you're right. In certain spots, chasing steam has worked, but in certain situations, it been a good fade. I'm specifically talking about steam that doesn't go through critical numbers. For example, a line going from lets say -11 to 12.5 or 8 to 9 etc. And I'm just pointing out what I have observed this bowl season. I haven't ran numbers or anything. Just simply stating what I have observed.

Another follow the steam winner with Duke. I use AN as one of the tools for gathering information on plays. I find it’s one of the better sites. Following the steam has been working pretty good so far for sides.
