Quick question who comes up with the Sagarin Predictor games. Does he list them somewhere or does someone just decide what they think they are?

Thanks

The Sagarin Predictor plays are obtained by comparing the Predictor ratings published by Jeff Sagarin and where there is a +2 or more difference they are listed as a play. Just another tool to compare with all the others provided here. they are listed in this thread after I calculate them for each game.

Thanks for the answer but I don't see how Fordham +20 is on the list. Fordham would be 60.05 rounded to 60.1 Duquense is 75.4 +3.8 home court is 79.2 a difference of 19.1 thus not meeting your criteria of 2 or more.

If you are leaving out the home court advantage that is a huge issue.

Duquesne is 73.98 plus 3.82 home court = 77.80. Fordham is 60.21 on the far right Predictor ratings. 60.21 +20 = 80.21 which is a 2.41 difference in favor of Fordham. I am not sure where you found the numbers you are using but mine come from USA Today Sagarin ratings updated through March 4th games.

The numbers you are using are not Predictor. Predictor ratings are in blue on your chart...the farthest to the right and are supposed to be according to Jeff Sagarin the best numbers to use to predict final score. If you read the introduction to the ratings will detail which is best to use for predicting scores.

Thanks for your efforts to correct me , but you are using a different part of the Sagarin ratings than myself.
