Chart of the favs performance Reads - ATS WIN..ATS LOSS..SU LOSS
%'s tracked at SI
Line moves tracked at pinnacle

Games with no move or a line drop on the fav were profitable dog plays especially when the Fave was only getting 40-69% of the backing and the line dropped dog was 8-2 and won 4 SU.

Florida -10 is the first double-digit opening line in the Elite 8 since 2005.

cbb at its finest, with the last minute of mich/tenn taking a half an hour as the game delves into a free throw shooting, monitor watching delay fest. in the end nobody should have lost, mich -2 pushes and tenn +3 wins

no doubt to win the ncaa bb championship, you have to catch some breaks
so far Fla. has yet to be challenged, they played a 16, 9, 4, 11 seed so far and now draw a 7 in uconn
you have to be good, but it helps to be lucky

Wisc. also the beneficiary of some luck in its run to the final four
tuff second rd. matchup with Oregon, where their huge comeback was aided by being a virtual home game.
then a walkover vs. a 7th seed, and a win vs. #1 Az on a fortuitous last second call

sure, if uconn and fla play like they did last week, uconn will win.
wisc [ like mich] is a bad matchup for kent with all the 3ball shooters , except wisc has an inside game in addition to the long range bombers. athletic guards hurt wisc and i dont see wisc stopping kent inside either so unless pressure gets to the kent youngsters they should be too much for wisky.

will Uconn do it one more time, who knows. Kentucky does have a propensity for playing close games and winning [lately].

What an unlikely scenario for the title game?
Will the team who lost all three games to conference foe Florida, but defeated Louisville both times win, Kentucky?
Will the team who lost all three games to conference foe Louisville, but defeated Florida both times win, UConn?
I don't believe that a team who wins the NCAA Basketball Title has ever lost 3 out of 3 times to it's own conference champ.

certainly and unusual year, after a disappointing season kentucky has the look of the best team but hasnt overwhelmed anyone. to win a bracket pool, usually have to have the winner. Anybody alive with either ?

Kentucky’s streak of close wins could be historic. Since the tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1985, the team to win the championship by the lowest aggregate scoring margin was Villanova that year. Villanova outscored its opponents by just 30 points combined over six wins (five points per game). Kentucky will break that record if it beats Connecticut by 11 points or fewer.

with 1 minute to go, in UConn's 1st game in the tourny, they had less than a 10% chance of winning
