I’m playing the first timer #6 Pilkington WPS in race 6. I play golf with a guy who knows the breeders(part owners) Joe and Don Cochonour, so been watching their horses. They pair up with Jerry Caroom here who is a leading owner at Oaklawn. These connections own another horse, Caroom who has raced 4 times this year with a 0-2-2 record including a third at Keeneland at 21-1 at this same distance. Hard Spun turf runners are winning at a 22% rate when going 10f or longer. Horse has been training steadily since March and the fact they shipped him here says a lot.
