And I don't agree that somehow all those jobs just dried up. Sure, some lower level ones won't be all coming back. But a large percentage are computer related anyway. Banks did a decent job to make sure their wouldn't be a bunch of foreclosures and it shouldn't be hard to pay a month of two of back payments when they're giving you 3 years to do it. Breaking news... It's all over but for the screaming and shouting.

America got through this far better than the rest of the world
mainly because we are a 5 star country when it comes medicine and all
its supporting cast. Our hospitals are top notch and doctors are abundant.

Were all the measures we took perfect? Not by a damn sight.

However other than overreacting in some cases it was handled pretty well.

And it also helps that we have that money tree to pick all that is needed
to lessen the financial situation.

Now the only thing I question is, did we learn anything and if so will we
more wiser the next time?

Now we're off to Cincinnati.
