so i thought about this today and she wrote this article for the New Yorker, not for some blog she keeps. That means she lives in some bizarre world where her colleagues, editors, and senior executives thought it was a great idea to take the side of CAUGHT/EXPOSED/ARRESTED pedophiles. what kind of echo chamber do you live in when every person in your circle of trust gave this a thumbs-up and never questioned her?
