My son had an overnight field trip a few months ago. Boys stayed with boys. Girls stayed with girls.
Lets put it this way. If a transgender student were to be on this field trip. I am 10000000% sure that the parents of the students rooming with this transgender student would have to give consent to their child rooming with this transgender student.
Funny, i have kids in Broward County schools and yet i havent had a conversation with ANYONE who actually cares about the "dont say gay" bill or transgender issues blah blah blah.
However when you sign on to the RX, its one of the HOT topics on here.

What was almost worse was the facebook group with Broward County parents regarding going back to schools, masks, covid, teachers, and a few other gems.

We've got anywhere from "covid never existed" parents to "i'll take my kid to an outside birthday party but we'll all wearing masks (in 2022).
Funny how I go to 1-2 different schools on a daily basis and talk and observe with students, parents, and faculty, but a few people on this site know "everything"
