and I don't recall anyone ever making racist accusations at the time the supposedly racist remarks were made, presumably because no one thought that at the time.

it's only after I said that the players shouldn't be offended by what an ignorant old man said that the scum tried to paint me as racist, once again showing his true colors

he's scum

If you can convince yourself that saying the working class vote is the white vote is similar to saying blacks are better than asians in basketball more power to you. I personally can't.

I knew what Willie was doing. He was going off for weeks over the minority vote including making multiple threads about it. And he was really pissed at us for ragging on his horrible election predictions which made him even more on edge.

He made those statements with the full intention of acting superior to minorities. They were very racist comments and when you put all the evidence together, he does feel whites are superior to other races. There is no way around it.

There are people who are part of the problem and there are people who are part of the solution.

You're definitely part of the problem, so of course the truth would "offend" you.

and then he posts something like

paraphrasing I think, might be verbatim

"I don't know why Willie has a beef with me, we've been cordial for years"

Calling someone a racist is pretty hardcore and I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt that you were just angry... but then you came after me and the gloves came off. I tried to be cool with you. You refused, now the whole forum gets to know what racist Willie really thinks. But don't be too upset, 9 out of 10 people on this site will not care if you are a racist. Look at Sheriff Joe... he's actually happy about your comments! Lol.

Well, frankly, I was kind of pissed off in the election results, that blacks (in general) voted for Obama just because of the color of (half of) his skin. You had all those black precincts in Philly and Ohio where Romney got 0 votes? But that doesn't make me a racist??? I don't think for a second that any race is better than any other...

You're part of the problem because you vote for the party that panders to, well, losers.

The party that drags race, class and gender into EVERYTHING.

Listing off statistics doesn't make you racist. Even Obama has said that there is a problem with black youths in America because statistically they have higher crime rates, lower graduation rates, etc, etc. And those precincts with the 100%/0% votes are heavily democrat... even in 2004 when the Dem was white over 5 of those precincts went 100%/0% against Bush. And majority of them were in the upper 90% in favor of the Dem candidate. So I don't think they solely vote for Obama because he's black. More probably came out to vote because of that, but it's not like they changed their Party affiliation because Obama was black. They are Dems.

But saying the white vote is the working class vote is not backed by any statistics. It is just a plain racist comment.

Here is the problem with that zit....let's give obama the same numbers that clinton got from the african american commnity......guess what....obama is still in the white house.

Most blacks vote dem regardless. If obama ran against herman cain....he would have crushed him in the black vote also. It isnt as much the color as it is the D instead of the R.

Bullshit... I called you out many times back then for your racist comments. You even admit here what you are implying.

Willie
Did you know?

Romney actually won the working class vote (read non inner-city) by the same majority Reagan did, 20 points.

there was just a larger working class vote in 1980, 88% vs 72%, thus Ronnie won in a blow out

poor Jimmy, must be thinking "timing" is everything

AK
Lol, by "working class", Willie means white! That's where he is getting his 88% and 72% figures. And you wonder why republicans don't appeal to minorities or women!! Hahahaha. Classic find Vit! Keep up the solid work. These clowns need to be exposed! The funny thing is, even after his beat down willie keeps on providing the goods! Hahahaha

Willie
Obama has brought racial tensions to a recent high, it's what he wants, it's what he needed to succeed

and it worked, but I'll never respect that

and when I used the expression "non inner city vote", what on earth do you think I was referencing? you think you made some revelation?

Willie
he got jimmy carter numbers from the working class

60/40 is as bad as it gets for that demographic

Ak
Willie is just being racist as always. He did not get 60/40 working class votes. He got half the educated vote, 44% of the $100k and over vote. He got 60/40 white vote which Willie is considering as the "working class" because he is a true racist republican!

Vitterd
Do you know that "white" is not the only people in the working class? Again 60 million votes...for a guy who tries to use numbers to make his point, you sure swing and a miss on a lot of the actual numbers.

Fair points... It still is quite amazing to me that Romney got 0 votes in all those precincts...

I hear ya....but if you put an entire district together that has old rednecks from the south and that's all they got.....obama gets zero votes also.

People will vote who they identify with...minorities from the inner city are not voting for a millionaire white guy. Same as Jim bob from mississippi isnt voting for the liberal black guy.

And the reason it can easily be used to shock people is because there were 0 votes for Romney. But is that really much of a difference then the rural areas of Texas where the vote was 95/5, 98/2, etc. I mean if 800 people vote for Romney and 5 vote for Obama, is that really a big difference than 805 people voting for Obama and 0 voting for Romney?

Im familiar with the phrase "cry me a river" but not the latter part of your phrase. Am I misreading it?

Cry me a river and build me a bridge to cross it is what I meant to type, but I think you got the gist of it, even with the typo.
