He's part of the reason why I no longer follow the nba. Shut the fuck and play basketball. He still can't sniff Jordans jockstrap.

Seems like an overreaction here. Did y'all read the quote:

The climate is hot,” James said. “The No. 1 job in America, the appointed person is someone who doesn’t understand the people. And really don’t give a f–k about the people. When I was growing up, there was like three jobs that you looked [up to] for inspiration. It was the president of the United States, it was whoever was best in sports and it was the greatest musician. You never thought you could be them, but you can grab inspiration [from them].

Even as someone who leans right I don't see that comment as a big deal.

Lebron's grammar is exquisite.

Saying "Trump doesn't understand the people and doesn't give a fuck about the people" is not offensive? What about that statement is reasoned and educated?

So which is it? Are you triggered by the comment or the fact that he *gasp* used a curse word?

Either way it's pretty ridiculous to get bothered by the statement.

Let's be clear, I don't get triggered. I'm not soft.

Just wish a professional athlete would have a stronger grasp of the English language before they put out public statements.

"And really don’t give a f–k about the people. When I was growing up, there was like three jobs"

I learned a lot of life skills from playing basketball.
uh, no you didn't Kevin

8-digit NBA contracts and working 80 days/year is about as close to real life as being a star wars Jedi or a sorcerer. Fn ignorant

No you're not triggered or soft. You just get irrationally irritated that a hoops player doesn't use proper grammar. I have no idea how you watch sports if that is the case.

I'm not irritated at all really. I find it funny actually and sad for him.

I'm sure Lebron and his 9 figure net worth appreciates the pity of an angry little man on an anonymous message board.

Haha, you can keep saying I'm angry all you want. It doesn't make it true.

BTW-The SEC is looking great in hoops this year.

Fair enough. I just didn't see the comment as a big deal.

Regarding SEC hoops, I'll trust your statement is correct. I slowly reached the point that I find college hoops unbearable. I love March Madness but the average product on a typical game just doesn't hold my interest. In football I prefer college over NFL. In hoops I much prefer NBA to college.
