How anyone could bet against the goal of one of the best athletes of our generation is beyond me!

Wow good thing I didn't bet the over. I just had a feeling with it being Lance and having a team of pace runners to stay with him was going to get him under 3 hrs. Plus when he sets a goal, it seems he always accomplishes it.

I wanted to bet he would finish the race (-700) but I thought a meteroite would fall from the sky and crash on top of him, so I didn't.

Congrats to him and whoever had the under.

Being clean and never being caught are two completely different things, and to assume that one equals the other is ridiculously naive.

Barry Bonds and Jason Giambi have never tested positive for performance enhancing drugs either, would you immediately say they are/were clean? Neither did Florence Griffith-Joyner, and she only broke the womens 100m world record by half a second.

Ive never tested positive to recreational drugs, but that doesnt mean I didnt smoke marijuana and didnt inhale like Bill Clinton, or bought crytal meth off gay prostitute and didnt use it like Ted Haggerd

Yer, Lance is right up there with Marion Jones, Ben Johnson and the East German athletics team.

Lance has tested positive for banned substances on at least 2 occasions, and on both occasions managed to produce a doctor's certificate advising the use of the substance for illnesses which Lance has never had. Of course this never appeared in the mainstream media because the international cycling federation did not wish to further bring the sport into disrepute following the Festina scandal a decade or so ago.

It has also been revealed recently, that Lance tested positive for EPO following the first of his Tour de France wins in 1999, and one may question why this was never brought to light earlier.

It is quite funny how most people accept the fact that Armstrong was a mediocre cyclist pre-"cancer", and a race winning cyclist post-"cancer". Surely the weight advantage from the loss of a testicle was not enough to turn a runt into a champion?

Good to see Floyd Landis got caught, and lets hope he rats out his buddy Lance.
