At Pinny as of this minute:

Nets +185
Lakers +500
Philly +725

Those are the top 3 to win the title

Lakers currently not even favored to win their 1st round series. Yet 2nd best odds to win the title. Interesting.

This looks about right

AD looked like a high schooler yesterday. I think they'll turn it around but it's looking like they're gonna have to play at least 6 games in their first series

AD "Best 2nd option in the NBA" I believe was your quote in the other thread. I'm not sure he can keep that Avocado gifted title if he keeps playing like a high schooler.. :Carcajada:

Yeah he's looked like hot garbage. But I expect him to take over a game or two this series and that'll probably be the difference. I think he is the best second-option in the NBA

I would expect that too. He dominated PHX in LA in a meaningless game a couple weeks ago. He's a tough matchup for any team. When he's not busy massaging his vagina.

I still favor the Lakers, margin for error is thin but unless Bron/AD are too banged up from their injuries, having no offseason and age in Bron's case then I think they should be able to coddle it together. They were horrible in game 1 vs Houston and Portland last year as well.

AD gotta play more minutes at center though, last year he was around 50% at center in the playoffs roughly. Down to 25-30% now.

I thought Drummond could maybe give LA something but he's as bad a defensive rebounder as the advanced stats indicated and even when he gets OBoards he can't really do much with them anyway.

In this matchup, he is far more effective at Center. And it opens everything up for them. If they don't play most of his minutes at center, I think LA gets bounced this round. They might even get bounced anyway regardless of where he plays.

I agree that they need to play AD more at the 5. Drummond clogs up the lane and he has a lot of empty stat rebounding. He really has no offensive game whatsoever. Just catches incredible LeBron passes and occasionally gets a put back

They apparently "promised" Drummond a starting spot.

That looks about right, as those are probably the best 3 (Philly/Milwaukee are pretty close though)

Lakers definitely the best value pick of the bunch, but Nets are absolutely the best team. Only reservation there is the Harden choke factor

I think the Lakers are cooked. They can't overcome the loss of Davis. Those groin injuries can take months to recover from.

That's what I feel without AD, but the line is still fishy as hell

Davis out for Game 5 at least. I'd agree it'll be tough to overcome that in a best of 3 without home court

Fishy relating to the Lakers odds to win the title

Yeah it's kinda strange given the Davis injury. Second-favorites despite being a decent underdog in Game 5 of a 2-2 series, without home court advantage and missing their second-best player. Doesn't quite add up
