I don't think a Cubs loss is going to irritate Chicago sports fans in the slightest tonight. :toast:

But feel free to keep trying.

3-2 L to braves--

The Cubs, last in the NL Central, have lost five of six but took some solace in the ninth-inning comeback off Kimbrel.

9-0 loss today
IT
was a frustrating day for the last-place Cubs. They lost their 14th straight series on the road, a streak dating to last September.

6-2 loss today:

Chicago fell to 10-22 on the road, the worst mark in all of baseball.

Devin Mesoraco hit a grand slam with two outs in Cincinnati's five-run ninth inning, leading the Reds to a 6-1 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Monday night.

Jonathan Broxton (3-0) pitched a perfect eighth and Logan Ondrusek got three outs, helping the Reds improve to 30-11 against the Cubs over the last three seasons. LOL:pointer:

Zimmerman's eighth inning single drove in Span for the go-ahead run as the surging Nationals capped a strong weekend with a 2-1 win over the Cubs on Sunday.

Could get ugly -- Reds going for a 5 game sweep tomorrow --

CINCINNATI (AP) -- Alfredo Simon became the NL's first 12-game winner and Billy Hamilton added to his sensational series with a tiebreaking triple Wednesday night, leading the Cincinnati Reds to a 4-1 victory over the trade-depleted Chicago Cubs.

The Reds won their fifth in a row - matching their season high - and moved a season-best seven games over .500. After winning the first four games of the series, they'll try for their first five-game sweep since 1976 on Thursday.
