It seems that there is at least a decent chance of this happening.

Kinda tough spot for Brooklyn. IDK if you just hand him a longer term max deal given # of games missed over last few years/his volatility off the court. But they've pushed their chips in with Durant, so it would be weird to see them ship away such a talented player and potentially waste the backend of KD's prime

Lakers definitely would love to get rid of Westbrook. Could see this being pulled off if a team like Indiana or Charlotte is willing to take him on as a third party in the trade

I know this board is full of Kyrie lovers, so I'd imagined you'd love a LeBron/Kyrie reunion

Would love to see those two hook up for their final flops.

What they did in Cleveland they ain't doing in LA.

Biggest question mark would be availability/durability with them and AD.

Obviously they’re not gonna replicate 2014-2017 Cavs, but If they stayed relatively healthy they will be fairly competitive. Kyrie brings a much better compliment skill wise to LeBRon/AD than Westbrook

This board is full of Kyrie lovers? Are you talking about the Green Fruit and his posse?

I think the Nets already know Kyrie ain't worth it, everyone else will eventually (well, almost everyone)

WINNING is so much more than handle and shooting. It's all about chemistry and a TEAM

"Flat Earth" destroys every locker room he walks in to

It would be a legendary reunion. Especially for the example of young people

I don't think Irving wants anything to do with LeBron again

Kyrie isn't a saint, but he was the first player to find out what a selfish prick LeBron is

Anthony Davis is the only one gullible enough to want to play with him

If Lebron is a selfish prick what exactly does that make Kyrie?

Anyways, 0 percent chance this is happening. This is just sports media dreaming up a trade. What exactly would Lakers even offer Nets besides a AD trade for him?

I see KD has Bucks on his wish list. Should i start a thread about that? ;)

Kyrie is definitely a weirdo

Gotta give him credit for at least one thing though

He stood up for everyone's freedom in not being forced to be vaccinated

Hard to trust media, but sounds like Kyrie has expressed Lakers as top option if it doesn’t work out with Brooklyn. Also sounds like Kyrie and LeBron have been talking themselves. Could be all ESPN fairy dust but some of the solid ones (Woj, Windy) have given credence to those stories.

It’d be hard to pull off because they have to involve third team that would be willing to take on expiring Westbrook contract and potentially send solid role pieces to Brooklyn to make it worthwhile for them. Indiana and Charlotte only teams that make sense to me

I mean Kyrie and LeBron had as much team success in 2015-2017 as the Boston Celtics have in the last 35 years :)

Who knows how the chemistry would work in the second time around though

Kyree has mentioned that he wouldnt mind coming to Miami

However i havent spoken to 1 HEAT fan who would actually want him

Talent- oh no doubt Kyree has it

However no need for a cancer

Cancers ruin and destroy things

Just take a look at the RX for example

Idk if calling Kyrie a cancer is fair. He was well liked in Cleveland and is liked in Brooklyn by all accounts as a teammate. He struggled in Boston though

Bigger concern is if he’s gonna let off the court crap keep him from playing/will he stay healthy.

From a pure basketball standpoint his talent/scoring ability is exactly what Miami needs. He’d be the top scorer for sure and I don’t think Heat would downgrade defensively that much. Spo would do a good job hiding his weaknesses there

Would love to see this. Halfway through the season, StreetClothes is on the bench due to an injury...Kyrie is out due to emotional trauma for...fill in the blank...and LeBron over-extends to try to prove he is still relevant. Out of the playoffs again.

Where do you get your news from? And why was Kyrie traded?

Out of love and respect?

Because he hated being in fucking Cleveland, what an awesome teammate

Woj and Windhorst (two of most reputable in the business) among those who have reported it

He wanted out of Cleveland because he wanted to be center piece of team/wanted out of shadow of LeBron. That doesn’t mean he’s a bad teammate

Again pretty much all documented player accounts from Cleveland say Kyrie was a good teammate.

Definitely a different story in Boston though

You're arguing with a guy that has told you he bought the man's old sneakers.

Just food for thought there Willie.

Kyrie is a great teammate. That doesn't really care all that much about basketball. But great teammate if you want to discuss worldly events like earth being flat and the meaning of a replica floor----of which Kyrie still thinks is dangerous and a floor from the 60s.

A real rhodes scholar and great teammate---when not pertaining to basketball activities.

edit: the guy is also about to hit 30(if he isn't there already) i don't see him taking care of himself enough to not fall of a cliff soon as a basketball player. Another thing to think about if a team is actually entertaining bringing him aboard.
